Goodbye liveable wage paid to people willing to stand up for themselves. Hello scummy illegal border jumping lowlife subhuman greaseballs willing to work for slave wages since they live with 48 of their cousins in a studio apartment and heat tortillas up on the space heater. Then they cash their paycheck at the liquor store and pay 10% to western union money back to Mexico. Kill yourself. You're destroying what's left of America because you're too weak to stand up for yourself.

You're upset with the wrong people. If all employers, including the temp agencies, were using E-verify, a lot of the problem would disappear. No one stays where they can't work or get welfare. What's destroying America is that people just trust the government will do the right thing so they remain ignorant of what is going on. I am sure that most have heard that "ignorance is bliss". The situation with illegal immigrants only benefits the businesses that hire them. The town suffers when those wages earned here are sent out of the country yet, Emporia is known for such. The town is in trouble. We were here several years back and were shocked at the changes. Too often, when you live in an area, you don't see the changes taking place. Between the illegal population and the great support they get here and the companies that only want to hire temps, there isn't much here. Add another name to the growing lists of towns that are in trouble in KS. Nothing is done about the illegals because businesses want to enslave these people and they do it. I don't know what Hostess may do when they reopen and I can't believe that the employees watched it be closed but understand that a lot of people don't understand what is going on in the rest of the world when it comes to the economy. So, the illegals wouldn't be doing what they are doing if US citizens would get off their butts and demand more from their government. Want to create jobs in Emporia, E-verify! Don't want those kinds of jobs? Well, the choices are limited.
