Now I know what you all are talking about. Just heard that one of the V palyers quit and King is having his kid practice with V to take his place. Not to smart considering everyone can see that there are other kids on JV that deserve that spot.
WOW what an idiot and a way to make enemy's in a small town that he just moved to. If I had a kid on that team I would go talk to administration.

Old MCHS fan i tried that when my son played. Nobody listened nobody!! I tried to set up meetings with coaches, AD and principal. I started with coaches who ignored me then countless phone calls to athletic dept with no return calls. Tried to talk to coaches face to face they told me to set up an appt so i tried. Four different people in athletic dept no calls back. My son set up an appt he showed up AD did not. This went on for 3 seasons. I have no respect for that program or the athletic dept. I have no money or power so they had no time for me or my son.

All of the parents on here make me sick. It doesn't matter who we get as coach its complain complain complain. Lets go back a few years - parents ran
Coach Larry Bullington out of town, why? because he played his son, which by the way was a very good player and is now a professional baseball pitcher, and
their precious little boys didn't either make the team or get much playing time. So what happened to coach Larry Bullington? He was hired by Pike - they went undefeated and won a State Championship. But according to the parents he wasn't a good coach either. Not every boy can be on the team, not every boy can play 4 quarters. Just because he is your son doesn't make him a good player period.

i am a parent. Its obvious you cant read so go get your GED before you come back. My son and the way adults belittle him in the athletic dept is my business.

Inianapolis25 nobody on here is talking about Brian Bullington or his father. If you dont like what you read dont read this forum. Your relative is one of the six who play so of course you back the coach.

The player that quite was will be a Jeremy Lin in a few years, the player could easily take any starting varsity players spot. He was the only kid that could dunk too... :( he was also white.

Huh - i do not have a relative on the team, and i am sick and tired of parents
like you who think their child is the next Michael Jordon. Coach King is not
ideal in my opinion, however he is the coach and we need to support him. The kids will not play the way he needs them to play if the adults undermine him. The reason i mention Coach Bullington is he is exactly what happens to every coach that comes to this town.

Support the coach all you want Inianapolis25. If you dont have a relative on the team you dont know the whole story. Ive never complained about playing time in all the years, not once. I cant respect a coach who disrespects my son with his nasty comments destroying confidence and self- esteem in front of the entire t23eam using him and others kids as his punching bag. How about we start with the coach respecting his players. These players are still kids. His reverse psychology hurts the kids more than you can imagine. I dont think my son is the next rising star he just loves the game. As a parent you hurt when your child hurts.

One of the kids who got cut by coach king this season tried out for the columbus east aau team made the team and played with the columbus players. He wasnt good enough for coach king but was good enough for columbus east who in fact spanked king. That says alot about what goes on in MCHS basketball program.

There were 3 players that should of made the team that got cut. 2 of them were over 6' and had plenty of skills and the other one was a very good guard and did play with the east players.
When the coaches son starts V and can't even score 2 points in a JV game there is something wrong.

Crazy, I'm a parent and coach on several different levels. Also I have a college degree thank you very much. I know people like you. You are the type that drag every coach down just because your little one can't measure up. Sorry but the fact is that all coach's play to win the game. Apparently your kid doesn't present him with the best opportunity to win the game. I know it hurt junior but it will make him/her stronger in the future. You acting like an idiot on a message board as well as real life does nothing for him/her.

I'm willing to bet that you were also fairly inept at sports and are trying to live vicariously through your children. Either that or you have no history of basketball in your life and now suddenly you are some sort of expert.

I have no dog in this fight. Don't know King and I hope I don't know someone as foolish as you. What I do know is that what I said before is true. 99% of all parents need to keep their mouths shut.
