Finally someone in the US military who makes sense! Helping these rebels would be exactly like helping AlQaeda.

Why? Because the jews have buyers remorse and syria presents more problems than opportunity.now. Dont kid yourself the israelis have been deep in it. Who helped blast assad s closest associates last summer? And who blew up the syrian building which housed syrian intelligence in damascus weeks prior? What news conference occured after the attacks? The israelis settled its old scores with its old enemy syria. Now its operatives on the ground have doubts where the revolution is headed. Buyers remorse. A nice bedtime story along with the 174 palestinians held without trial or charges as we all go to bed.

All those thousands of Syrian protesters, risking their necks, all over Syria after Friday prayers, for months were really a bunch of Mossad spies in disguise! Even the dead ones after getting shot by Syrian 'security' forces.

An interesting photo. I assume the banner the protester is holding implies that the entire Assad government is a pack of Israeli agents.

Salvador Dali couldn't have painted a weirder picture of this war.

"Dempsey, who is President Barack Obama's top uniformed military adviser, said he would also advise extreme caution when deliberating any military options in Syria - saying the conflict posed "the most complex set of issues that anyone could ever conceive, literally."

Gee, duh! You think?

Maybe those rebel snuff videos finally found their way to Washington.

Although, I hardly think that would be the the general's main motivation. I watched a rerun of the movie 'Salvador' last night, reminding me that indiscriminate mass executions by Washington's 'allies' have never seemed to bother our generals before.

That s not my point and i have repeatedly stated assad will not die a natural death. I do not condone barbarism whomever is the culprit or culprits. Since youre sensitive did you like the fsa video of the aleppo tribal leaders rounded up, and shot at close range with 7.62. What a hypocrite you are. The 2 sides are both guilty..

Thats right,i said at the time those attacks were not done by some Syrian student or someone who had been a Bus driver,it had Special forces all over it,i think they have been on the ground in Syria for a long time directing those savages and even being involved in attacks.if any of those bastards are captured they should face a firing squad.

So why then in God's name would some in the West support one over the other?

We've seen these whitewashed interventionist scenarios before. I for one am sick of them.

How would they know? The terrorists just pull down their black flags and hoist an American one when negotiating for aid.

We are very careful to whom we distribute weapons. We first ask "Are you Sunni or Shi'a?"

The Croats are the problem. They speak no Arabic!

I think Assad can do that all by himself. He doesn't need any outside help to trash his country. If he has to kill or terrorize every second Syrian citizen to hold onto his power, than so be it.
