The times I have been by my place at night, it didn't look like no teen club to me. Not unless it changed in the past few months. Typically I mainly see black adults in that area and the activities were not very teen like. If I am wrong about this, please someone correct me. I do not want to be wrong in my opinion about this place. I do feel for the family of the 17 year old. There are too many violent acts that happen for the most ignorant of reasons. And it is happening to the youth of our area. When will the lessons of this violence be learned?
it only serves as a teen club when our party manager throws teen parties. otherwise, it serves as a location for many college/ adult parties

adults get on here and act like they know what happend and they really don't. you weren't there. AT THE TIME OF THE SHOOTING, it was a TEEN PARTY. teens need something to do, or somewhere to go because racist bridgestreet will only kick us out after 9. i've been there countless times, secruity is tight but what happens outside of the club is beyond their control. the result of this guy shows how IGNORANT & ruthless teens can be over some bull----. but all i'm asking is for the ADULTS to stop talking about what you know nothing about. like Z HUMP said, a shooting can happen anywhere and it just so happens it was at infinity, a black club for teens. rip james price. god bless the family & close friends of him.

This is very sad. It makes me want to stay in the house and jus go to school, work, and chill. There was no need to kill a person over anything. If somehow u end up in a fistfight, then fight don't shoot. I come from a city where girls n boys get shot or stabbed every week..I think its a lot of wanabe thugs out here in huntsville. Here, student athletes are jumping and shooting folks, and people with degrees still arguing n fighting in the club-absolutely ridiculous. Some folks need to go to church or sit down and read a book. Humanity needs to learn Humility. Everyone gets embarassed or their feelings hurt...u jus brush it off,do not resort to violence! I was there when the young man got shot at Pokar de ases in april, over steppin on a shoe earlier,I believe. Which led to a minor altercation, which was stopped...so when outside,he is approached and shot. Thank God this youngman lived! Club infinity is for 16-20 yrs olds, and sometimes they have college parties...I happen to kno the owner and party promoters, and they are educated businessmen. Like someone said earlier, security would not change the fact b/c the shooting was outside. I mean people shoot police officers even! But no one can stop a bullet to the head. RIP James Price and please also pray for SCS family as well. When will it end, this black on black crime. Others are laughing at us. Jus like we shake out heads when we hear about some crazy (white) mass murderer eating ppl lol and no one is safe, not even us ladies. There are men out there who will bop us over the head, punch us in the face,or call some girls to get us. And there are women who will slice us or shoot as well! We can only hope people will think be acting, respect others, and have a mature outlook on life and the situation you may encounter. I'm out

You cant justify bridgstreet being racist becuase of the stores they have or caliber of people who typically go there. They make the type of rules they have to keep control of the amount of kids hanging out aswell as the possibility of fights and shooting. Teens seem to have no self respect or for others so rules are set in place to try to prevent situations like this from happening. What needs to happen is for kids to be involved in other activities than looking forward to going to the club every weekend.Dont get me wrong the club is fun but it doesnt need to be the high light of thee week.Get involved in some sports, give back to the community so you feel a sense self worth and explore options that this area and nation has to offer becuase we could al be worse off.Adults need to stop acting like kids and mentor these kids who will end up in the vicious cycle of life of pregnancy, jail, self destruction and gang violence.

business owner in area: its a teen club. but sometimes they do have college night. but as far as adults umm i dont know about all that. && ive been going since it has been open.

its not just a black club, white club mexican club or whatever. its mixed yewd be surprised at what race yew see in there.

Club Infinity has lots 0f security could be better though. Maybe THey Should Have Plenty Security outside. He didnt get shot in the club or near the building (parking lot wise). he got shot a few buildings down. But of Course it was over something really really stupid. The Shooter(22yr 0ld) wasnt inside the club. i dont know whats wrong with these kids these days. maybe their parents need to love them more. teach them more. SOMETHING im not saying thats what he get but i use to hang around him. yew want to be a bad ass yew get treated like a bad asS. yew dont have to go around trien to fight everybody.

It's a teen club. why not? it's for 20 and below. we should be able to have fun during the summer and any other time without having to worry about murder.

What was he doing at a teen club? He should not have been allowed in the club because he was to old. At a teen club I think that 19 should be the cut off age to be admitted.

this is bullshit. how dare yu post that last comment in ur post. i juss graduated in may. top 25% of 700 students. best high school in AL. 4 yr Junior ROTC cadet. scholarship to MSU. im very involved in my community. i also am close with ppl on the wrong side of the law. been thru more than a gurl should have. street life ain no stranger to me. but look how i turned out. me and my 2 sisters look forward to goin to infinity every weekend. thats wut we do. always has been, even when it was the 'Kappa Center'. and they are both involved in plenty of beneficial activities. its easy for yu to say 'teens need to get involved'. little do yu kno, if yu are majoring in any type of communication, volunteering for the club's street team can be used as internship. we have meetings with our 'boss'/ the party manager. the men (+ michelle) who are behind infinity, are highly educated and respectable. and they use the street team to show us the business side of our favorite hobby. ur ignorant. and i choose that word because yu are postin comments about a subject yu kno nothing about. yu just think yu kno. now yu do. so anything yu say after this response i blatent stupidity. ask ?s instead of steppin on a soap box.

@tps this is definately a teen club. u may have seen this place during the school months when aamu events may b going on and the club on certain nights is used for kappa parties and such... but it is normally a teen club... teen clubs need stronger stricter security to keep young dumb a** "grown-ups" away from the kids. kids decisions are not as educated as adults therefor teen clubs are more subject for things like this to happen.. at least in hsv. pokar de aces also has a younger crowd where incedents like this one has happened many times. the adult parties at this same club has not had any incidents like this to happen. and if an adult chooses to b in ther presence of younger people thats gotta b a dumb person who makes it a bad mix anyway. i pray for these young people everyday because we are killing each other everyday for no reason. i grew up here and birmingham.. with a noticable diff in population it is sad that the amount of friends classmates i have lost here to violence both death and prison time triples that of birmingham.

Johnson: the shooter was not in the club. it happened a few buildings from Building Club Infinity.

Natalie: i totally agree with yew. IM A High School Graduate myself. Get involved has nothing to do with how yew turn out in life. i've also been through it all i have Street friends that do bad things but that doesnt mean im going to do the same thing. so that there we cant use that as an excuse to why that happened or whatever.

As Far as Bridgstreet Me and my mom went to pick up my brother we were just sitting there just to see what would the security guards do. && sure enough security walked up messing with my brother. like really. Yewr Security do yewr job && im pretty sure messing with the kids while they wait on their ride isnt the thing to do. so of course my mother sat him straight.

Closing down clubs mall etc What is that going to solve. We could hang at our friends house the samething could happen. no where is safe. Bullets dont have eyes. yew could be out eating with yewr family P0W GUN SH0T. just like what happened at fridays few yeawrs ago. so closing everything down is just no called for.

This is a terrible and senseless crime and I pray the judicial system makes Seay pay for what he did. Too many kids are taken from us to soon and sadly it seems more and more are by the hands of another kid. Parents need to be more involved in their children's lives and teach them that violence is NOT the answer. As for the bystanders of this violent act, you are lucky. I have never understood why when a fight breaks out kids sworm to it like bees to honey. Use your head, you could be an innocent victim one day, don't stand and watch, get help. Be kids, have fun, but be safe and use your head and make wise choices- like who you hang out with and WHERE you hang out. RIP James

I didn't say that, but what an excellent idea.

It certainly would be a "positve" for a young high school grad to have as a habit in Huntsville, or anywhere else.

Seriously people lay off the "black" clubs and hangouts... so many comments have been made about "this could have happened anywhere"--so true!! It is sad however that a crime like this just makes the statistics more true. The south end of the city isn't any better than the North so don't judge. Stupidity is all around us- north, south, east and west. White people commit crimes and use incorrect vocabulary too (that's for the ebonics comment). Racism is unacceptable and if you can judge someone based on their color or creed then you too my friend are just as ignorant as the person you are judging. Hopefully there are some young black people who will use this situation as a learning experience and lead others on the path in which they should go. Black people are not uneducated, they get educated just like whites, mexicans, or "whatever", it is HOW they use their education that counts. Be bold, be a leader, and prove those who judge you wrong. I know you have potential to be great-- NOW PROVE IT. And for the record...I'm not black but I do teach a large number of black students.
