Spacegate is off of HWY 53. It is the street just after Dan Tibbs Road going north on 53 on the left. I am not surprised by this. I have been to my business in that area late at night and the activity that goes on over there is ridiculous. I make sure I am not in that area long. Everyone can learn from this. I would hate that this kid died from something stupid. SOme people have no respect for others and I am sure the wrong one died.

If any other owners read this, please give your input. I have been in that area for 20 years and it has been a great commercial area to be in. We do not need this type of "business" in that area. Black club, white club, mexican club, any club that something this stupid could happen. I have always felt safe in that area and still do, but this type of thing doesn't need to happen at all. Usually I just had to worry about someone breaking in, never murder. And to Figures... like crime is something we want to imitate. Very smart. I just hope we never imitate your stupidity in regards to your statement about this story.

YEAH it was a TEEN CLUB.
the quote says the club is for "20 and below with no where to go".
The guy was 22 years old, he didn't belong there.

The times I have been by my place at night, it didn't look like no teen club to me. Not unless it changed in the past few months. Typically I mainly see black adults in that area and the activities were not very teen like. If I am wrong about this, please someone correct me. I do not want to be wrong in my opinion about this place. I do feel for the family of the 17 year old. There are too many violent acts that happen for the most ignorant of reasons. And it is happening to the youth of our area. When will the lessons of this violence be learned?

I'm so tired of seeing young black men not using their heads. Now not only is a 17 year old boy dead the other one lost his life as well cause he will either get the death penalty of life in prison. How dumb can you be? And the girl that called her brother or cousin out there is dumb as hell.

This was a senseless act and I just hope these kids learn from all this foolishness. That's three kids within a month. My condolences go out to both families. We as people need to learn to make better decisions young and old.

This location is a teen club, but unfortunately the teens are looking more mature these days. It's definitely a teen club, but you may see adults in their early 20's there also which doesn't mix with those teens in my opinion. I think if they had security there that would help out in situations like this.

This was definately a senseless crime. I pray for the family of both. However to shed some light on this club for those that do not know yes this is a teen club. I have several teens in my family that go & have a lot of fun. The suspect was 22 yrs old & had absolutely no business being at a teen club. Obviously he was immature mentally. This club does has security entering the club & this happened outside so having security wouldn't help this situation. The bottom line to stop all this violent among the youth is that the parent start stepping up and being more concerned about being a parent than a friend to their children. The race of the children has nothing to do with it but the raising does. Please parents don't let the streets raise your kids!

So this is comin from someone who was about 15 steps from the shooting...this was one of the most horrible things that could have happened. As people said earlier it was a teen club therefore it should have only been teens there but in all honesty this had nothin to do with the club...it happened in the area of a club at the same time a party was going on...I mean killings take place everywhere (walmart, schools, church, etc) daily but people fail to pay it any attention unless it ties to them in any shape form or fashion..

i am a promoter for the club that was the location. 1st of all, the club is for 20 and under. which is why james was there. granted, security could definitely be tighter, he had every right to be there. Z-hump* thank you for being real. my little sister was right there. it has nothin to do with Infinity.I know my security guards. and anybody who goes there does. police are always around. this is a safe club for us. RIP James. im glad they found who did it..... now lets focus on Erica Foster, another one of my friends.....gunned down at a red light.... no reason....in huntsville
