Reward Offered For Dogfighting Arrests

More than 300 dogs were seized and more than two dozen people arrested in the largest dogfighting raid in U.S. history.

I hate seeing this happen and I hope the dogs find good homes. I hope KOTV knows there is nothing illegal or wrong with weight training. It is a dog sport no different than flyball or any other dog competition.

This is horrible. What is wrong with people? And people knew that they would drop the dogs into the septic tank and did nothing. They are just as guilty. They should all be put to the same punishment.

This is just so wrong. I hate hearing that these dogs are treated this way. I don't like pit bulls personally, but they don't deserve this treatment. Take these people and let the pits take care of them for a change...

I hate to see this happen. It makes me cry just to think about all of these dogs that have been bred into these places and have lived no other life. The truth is that most if not all of these dogs are going to have to be euthanized because of their agression. I have a dog that is part pit, and I see nothing wrong with raising a pit bull... The problem is with the types of owners that get pit bulls. Pits are so loyal that they are willing to do whatever you want them to do just to please you. That is why it is so common to see them in these kind of homes. I hate that the breed has gotten such a bad name just because of the stupid, idiotic, cruel people in this world taking advantage of the breed.

Stupid, ignorant rednecks! Most of the dogs will be euthanized after being held in cages for a couple of years while the trial drags out forever. Then after being in cages for that long they'll be deemed too dangerous to be in society and they'll be put down. Nice ending for a poor dog didn't ask to be born a "pitbull" and vilinized and hated for it's breed. People suck!

They're WONDERFUL dogs when raised the way they should be. They're just dogs, not these evil killing machines the media makes them out to be.
I have fostered several pit bulls for rescue groups and they are the funniest most loving dogs. My hubby didn't think he liked pits until he spent some time w/ them. NOW he is a big fan and we plan on adopting one in the near future!

I agree the only reason you see so many pitbull attacks is because most of the pitbulls that have attacked have been raised to be agressive. We have owned many pitbuls in the past and they have all been gentle with other animals even cats and birds that we have had, all living in the same house, walking around freely.

Exactly! Alot of people that have a negative opinion on pitbulls haven't even had any contact w/ one. They can bite just like any other dog. I was bit by an American Eskimo dog and had to go through a series of rabies shots, but you don't see me saying I hate them and they're an evil breed. So stupid. And those freakin' shots hurt girl!!!!:)

You can't REALLY think that these dogs enjoy and bond over dog fighting. That's stupid. That's like saying you bond with your family by trying to kill them. Stupid people like this are the ones that give pit bulls the bad name they have. I have had two pit bulls and they have been the best dogs I have EVER had. When you raise them as part of your family, they will act as part of the family. The only thing natural for them is to be loving and loyal. It's stupid people like this that make them mean and aggressive.
