Macomb sheriff deputy accused of drunk driving

A Macomb County Sheriff's deputy was arrested for allegedly driving drunk in Bay County over the weekend, officials said.

Lt. Joseph Guzdziol was arrested Friday night by Michigan State Police under suspicion of driving while intoxicated on US-10 near Three Mile Road near Monitor Township, just outside of Bay City, said Shanon Akans, a spokeswoman for the state police.

Guzdziol is head of the Macomb County Sheriff Office's Special Enforcement Team, which performs criminal surveillance, narcotics enforcement and vice operations.

Hey leave the POOR souce alone he was just doin his job, maybe a little NORTH of his regular beat but THAT"S WHY YOU COME TO BAY CITY, fire the FOOL!

The WORST part of this is almost a WEEK later it comes out, BAY CITY, BOOZE, BROADS, and DRUNK OUT OF DISTRICT VICE COPS! After he's fired HE SHOULD GO TO JAIL,NO GET OUT OF JAIL FREE CARD, or maybe BAY CITY will GIVE him one seeing how he's a COP!

What would happen if you got caught dui'ing? I'll bet you wouldn't get just a stern reprimand like this guy will...what an embarassment. Drunken cop with a gun and carkeys, great.

Yea the cops - the local guys, they go to the bars right here in this little town I live in waaaay up north, they get drunk then they drive home - oh and did I mention they are in the Sherrifs department, so they are always on call.
From that department there has been a lot of firing from within. They hire only fresh kids like 20 years old, most have a basic military background NO law enforcment at all.
I know of one "good cop" that went to a school to talk to a teachr "his wife" he went there un'announced with full gear, including his loaded pistol (357) they dont carry 9mm up here.
He then set out in the halls looking for his wife, when stopped in the halls by another teacher that knew them, he said where is that botch - I'm going to kill her, he found out she was having an affair.
Well long story short, he was put on full administrative leave - 2 months pay.
He now works in Gaylord Michigan about 40 miles west of where he worked. And you'll never believe what he does at Jay's sporting goods?
Thats right... he sells firearms...
