MOUNT CLEMENS, Mich. - A 14-year-old boy was held at Michigan youth home overnight and handcuffed for several hours after refusing to follow a judge's order as part of a custody case to visit his father.
I thought in the State of Michigan, a 14 year old could make their own decisions when it came to custodial rights and seeing their parents. If the kid doesn't want to see the dad, there must be a reason, maybe the judge should have considered that before throwing the kid in juvee for the night!
