"The Catholic Church is not a necessary organization, it is a nonsensical organization, a bunch of fat, lazy, do-nothings, who have been living off the public dole for centuries.

The fact that they can do good is a testament to the fact that there are good people who will do good, but the organization is corrupt. It is poisoned to its core and it serves no essential good purpose, no true purpose, it is lie after lie, promoting harm to real people....the Catholic Church is not a force for good."

The Catholic Church brags that they are not a democracy. After all the Pope gets his direct instructions from the one true God.
Well that is fine and dandy if you are a Catholic.

The problem I have with this Catholic Church and its Pope they are getting more arrogant and vocal by the day and want everybody else outside their church to follow and listen to them.

Catholics, the Pope and his all-male groupies peddle you own snake oil among yourselves and leave the rest alone. We can think for ourselves and live without your silly rules and dogmas.

In other words...back off!

I think the reason the Catholic Church seems more vocal today is the fact that mainline Protestant churches have disappeared from the public square.

You don't hear from them, they operate with an inward focus and they won't take a stand on any social issues beacuse they don't want to get hurt at the collection plate.

My opinion.

I doubt that "brags" would be an accurate description. More like "points out" or "describes itself as."

That is not what the Church teaches.

I bookmarked that for later reading. I think the RCC somehow got way off base, but I don't think they did it on purpose. I personally no longer trust it.
