Key is an awful bank, with awful fees, and awful customer service, at least on the business banking side. Everyone should move their accts to Huntington when Key shuts their doors.

How safe is key direct?

I am considering several CD's.

I like their rates, but am hesitant concerning all the bank closures/troubled banks in general.

I am unable to obtain independent information on the bank, or ratings that aren't independent of their website.(I am familiar w/ the FDIC and its' coverage).

Any help is greatly appreciated.
