If I understand this news story correctly, it was all the government's fault that this guy killed his mother. Sounds to me like the author of the story feels that if the government had just ponied up more money to pay for this guys drugs, all would be well. I am sure that the left will use this tragic situation to extract more tax dollars from me in the future.

Let him move in with his Grandmother. Perhaps he can kill her too. There is no assurance this fool will stay on medication.

I am a former co-worker of Carolyn's and she was the sweetest person I knew. I do not think however her son should be moved to a less restrictive place. I do not understand what he is going through, but I believe that his orginal sentence should stand. He took someone I cared for as a friend away. Medicated or not he should stay where he is.

The real culprit, as usual, is Eli Lilly , milking state medicaids for all they are worth. Suppose this lethal drug did keep the son in check with his serious mental illness. The price paid should be capped, the use limited so that off label usage is against the law, and Lilly execs should go to jail for hiding the truth all these years that the drug causes diabetes, hyperglycemia, and DEATH. I hope this buy is carefully monitored if on it, with regular blood glucose tests. This is another death by greed.
