How did tax payers allow this to happen. Their should have been standards set for the community. Shitty yards ,boats in yards, no yard maintenance, trash in yards. These morons should be living in public housing.

I thought the communities were planned with restrictions. How can the houses be so poorly
maintained? What about the schools? Is crime that different than other areas of Jacksonville?

It was my understanding a few years back that Oakleaf was going to be another Eagle Harbour. I know of two families that moved in and now left and moved to better community. They talked about the crime, unfinished projects, child safety. Abandoned homes are common there. Never did hear why the community did not turn out as planned.

Maybe the timing of the construction had a lot to do with it, considering the economy is in the tank. It is sad that so many foreclosures in the area resulted in large houses selling for hardly nothing. I think that changed the area.

Too many Negritos. You can as many as 12 in a 4BR there.
