To cletus ross, you asked what does being a Christian have to do with anything. That is something that you and the other hurtful people on here who have NO sense of decency or respect for other people, especially at a time like this when her family and the MANY friends that Kim has are mourning her loss will EVER understand. I am big enough, as I hope others on here are, to look beyond your attempts to get other people angry. It takes a VERY SMALL person to hide behind a keyboard and make the remarks and comments that you and others have made. Your comments will not put one blemish on the life of a remarkable and wonderful person such as Kimís. It only makes you look more foolish and small. So to Kelly (Maytag) and the others, donít let these small people get to you, they obviously have no life and have nothing better to do with their time.
Well said.........

We have lost a great principal and friend. Words can not express the sadness that Mrs. Brannan's students and staff are feeling. We truly loved this lady. I am a better teacher because of the influence that Mrs. Brannan has had in my life (personally and professionally). I know that she was an amazing mother, educator and principal...hearts are broken all over BC (and beyond). We take care of our own, and she was one of ours. We LOVE the Brannan family and honor the legacy that Kim has left behind in the field of education. If you knew her you know what I mean. Please continue to pray for her family and our school (her other family). Forever in our hearts!

Was Mrs. Brannan wearing her belts? Its pretty hard to get ejected from a car if you are properly belted in. I'd give her the failing grade of "F" in Common Sense if she was not wearing her belts.
You do not need to be talking about her... you obviously did not know her and have no right to judge her! She was a firm believer in seat belts and wouldn't leave a parking lot unless everyone was buckled, there is a time for everyone to meet our heavenly Father and this was hers... she was loved by this whole community!

She was a wonderful teacher, if it hadn't had been for her I wouldn't be able to read. It's really sad, that this had to happen to one of the few teachers that cared about the students, and not just another paycheck. Good teachers are hard to come by and she was one of the best!

Mrs. Brannan was a wonderful woman who inspired many. If you did not know her what business do you have writing negative things about her. Regardless of the details of the seatbelt and southern drivers, Baker County has lost a great woman. Please allow people to grieve and keep your comments to yourselves. This is a sad time and there isn't room for heartless people. Our thoughts and prayers are with her family.

Thank you Kim for the love you had for our children. You always had time for my son. I sat across from you when my son was in the 6th grade. You were not there just to punish him but to give love and guidance. You helped him through middle school and High School. In 2003 when he graduated he spotted you thought the crowd and hugged you and thanked you for being there for him. You are still teaching us all to wear our safety belts. Kim I love you and owe you so much. We will all love your son and watch out for him. God bless you and your family. We will miss you but never forget what you have taught us. We are all praying for your family.

Alot of people probably all of Baker Co. loved and respected her-not just just because of how considerate, genuine, caring and loving to everyone but because "She'd beat your tails" if you didnt feel the same..

Mrs. Brannan was very special to me and i am praying for the family and i hope that the 2 favorite men in her life are doing well. I have never met anyone like her, she was my assistant principal in high school and my best friend after high school, and i always loved to go by her office and talk to her. Just to see how her day went, she was like a mother to me if i had something that i needed to talk about she was always there for me. She would laugh at me and tell me that she probably wasn't going to give me the answer i wanted but that was ok, i needed to hear it most of the time. Even after i graduated and entered the air force we still stayed in touch. She wrote and sent me and my family things just because that's how she was, always giving. She was my matron of honor last year at my wedding, even though i kind of surprised with about a weeks notice. She was truly one of a kind, and as i sit here and try to get through this without my friends and family in macclenny florida (bc i am stationed in idaho)i have to deal with it on my own. So for people that didn't even know her to leave stupid and inconsiderate comments just upsets me, these people need to find something better to do with there time. Being rude is not cute and even though i am not there right now, i can tell you no one from our town thinks its cute either so please do waste your time. See was a very inspriing women and i hope that i can impact as many lives as she has. As she will live on through me.
I have so much respect for ur respect with Mrs. Kim.. Thank you for makin me understand and then some!
