Review: River City Dental

I am very excited about my new dentist. She took the time to explain everything to me that I needed and about my teeth. For once I finally left understanding what my dental needs were. Very thankful to have found Dr. Lovett and her team!

I showed up to my appointment about 15mins early, went up to the doors and they were locked! The girl said they all were in a meeting and they would open soon. I waited in my car for about 15 more mins and more customers tried opening the door, this time the girl said it would be about 10 more minutes. It was very hot outside and I could not wait to get in to cool off.
I was very frustrated to say the least.
1. Don't hold entire staff meetings in the middle of the day and lock your doors. If you're going to have a meeting, make it during a time when you don't have appointments. Also, don't lock your door to your customers during meetings in the middle of the day. Hold the meeting in another room (not the waiting area) and let customers come in to wait. I would have stayed and waited if I could have sat inside where it was cooler. I realize with most places, you have to wait. But at least have the courtesy for letting me wait inside!
2. After 2 missed calls from them, I called back when I got home. They told me that the meeting was held during their lunch break and my appointment wasn't until 2pm.(They called me 2mins after 2:00, wondering where I was.) Is it fair to make me wait almost 30mins outside but get upset if i am 2 minutes late??
3. Lunch breaks are unpaid. Why would you have a meeting when your employees aren't getting paid and can't go eat!?
I told the girl I was not impressed at all with River City Dental and will find another dentist that is welcoming enough to let me come inside. I think it was rude the way they treated all of the customers waiting outside in the heat for them. And I won't be returning and will not give a good word for this company.

Love my new dental office. The staff is always very helpful and remembers me by name which tells a lot. Dr. Lovett treats my dental needs properly (unlike my previous dentist) and has helped me a lot with my dental health! I am very thankful!

I like how their office is up to date with new technology and digital. I like how everything the Dr talks to me about she can show me on the Tv in front of me, so I don't have to act like I know what she is talking about, I learn it better by being shown.. I like how they send text and email reminders, it allows several different ways to communicate with their office and keep me updated when I need to make my appointments! I'm really happy with this office and tell everyone about it!
