I seriously thought about going. However, I stopped and thought about all the redneck, jealous, almost threatening remarks I have read on this forum. Although I am a Taylor Made fan and love Matt Jones music, I felt those in attendance would most likely be a group who reflect the type of people on this forum. Stayed home and instead made a contribution to the Toys for Tots fund via mail. Although I do like the TM song, I feel it is a vehicle to incite violence.

A little tip. I like the Underground song but the type people who have that type of personality are definitely not the kind to show up and contribute to a charity fundraiser. People with that type thinking do not take part in charity events. Just a tip.

TM makes for a good bar band but concert material they "ain't".

Out of curiosity, what does our Governor think about a State Trooper singing the WV Underground Song? I am all for the song, just curious?

I heard that barely more than 100 people came out. If thats true, then it's a clear testament to how few listeners WTNJ has and, what a sad shape Southern Communications is in.

She is on WTNJ not WJLS. But your right she is AWFUL!

WTNJ is not the station that they used to be. I think they may have lost some of their listeners.

That's a pretty lame excuse dude. Doesn't sound to me like that you really want to donate. It's for the kids, not either of the radio stations. They were just helping out.

If nobody listens then nobody really knew about it. If the word about the fundraiser were promoted properly then they could have had a better turnout and more to offer the kids!

yes, if they had been more promotion than radio, ie newspaper, posters, flyers, bulletin boards, contests etc. there would have been a much larger turnout.

Who cares what the Governor thinks about a trooper singing a song. The Governor needs to start letting some factories and jobs into this state.

Where's the option 'people already had their fill of WV lottery jingles during the last Mountaineer game'? Tell me this band doesn't sound almost identical to those ads.
