I just had a HORRIBLE experiance with this company as well. We are researching their techniques. I'm certain that what they do is illegal and would love to pursue a lawsuit
Let me know if we are on the same page cause I am very serious about this.

They are the worst, they sold me a car that had more miles than was posted on the odometer. The car had been wrecked several times, the car had 9 previous owners, and the head gasket was cracked.. It leaked oil profusely and when I took it back they resold it to someone else and still charged me for the inflated value .. They ended up charging me 17,000.00$ for a 96 Mazda with 118k posted, but 256,768 actual miles.. And this was in 2002.. I made an arrangement to pay a partial amount.. I paid all of it except 1200.00$ lost my job and when I finally got a new job they automatically garnished my pay, to the tune of 4000.00$ Now I am about to be homeless !!!!.. Is this not CRIMINAL ?

This company should be sued or something.. People should complain more.. This is no different than predatory lending. It is CRIMINAL!!!!!!!!! This is a crime against the buying public. If anyone is interested in a protest/ pick line on all there businesses , let me know, because something has to be done about these people.. I want any potential customers to be well informed and I would like to see that company shut down!

Well danco took my car cause they are too lazy to look in the system to see that I had insurance and then told me I need to do a credit app over and pay them to get the car back. Listening to a damn friend I lost 1500 dollars and a car and lost my freakin job as well. I just landed the job and lost it yes I was behind and yes they gave me a chance to pay with attitude but if I would have research this company would have bought my car straight out as always. But wanted to try the car note thing never again so now im jobless and carless wtf so DNCO Kiss my entire A.... on this one I will go get another car.

From reading over these posts I definitely see a trend..People complaining about issues with the car. This is the nature of a used car and unfortunately, is the responsibility of the buyer to know what you are purchasing. Thats why in the state of Ga when you buy a used auto it is sold "AS IS". I know this because i purchased a used car about five years ago and within about a month, my transmission went out and it cost me $2K to fix. I did not complain nor did i threaten to sue someone that i have no right to sue. It was my responsibility so i had to bite the bullet and get it done. For some reason, people seem to think that this finance company is responsible for the issues with the car when all they did was lend the buyer the $ to purchase the auto. If im reading correctly, Danco does not sell cars they only finance them. Getting upset at them is like calling your mortgage company to complain that your roof is leaking and telling them you expect them to fix it. They will tell you that they are sorry but they cannot help you. Its your responsibility to keep the car running, no one else's. If i had failed to make my payments when i had to have repairs, my finance company would have repo'd my car as well for failure to uphold my obligation. People need to look in the mirror instead of always trying to blame other people.

Just like one of the previous statements, I financed through Danco in February 2013, and have not had any problems. People need to understand, this is a business, and if you inform people that you may be late making a payment or whatever the problem is, they will work with you. This company has ALWAYS taken my payment, and NEVER treated me wrong. Sure, everyone may not smile when you walk in, but they still look out, as long as you bring in your payment when you say you are. People bring on their own situations and want to holler at those once there cars is taken or sold. Do yourself a favor, if your going to be late, make arrangements and keep them so they will not come get your car, and keep your insurance active.

I purchased a car from danco back in December of 2010. In January of 2011 I lost my job. I made the First payment in January and the second in Febuary. I was unable to make The march payment as I was waiting for my unemployment to kick in. The car was repossessed and supposedly sold at an auction. I then received a letter In the mail saying that I owed $3600.00 on the car. I did research and in many states a buyer cannot be held responsible for any remaining balance on a car if they paid less than $1000 in payments.. Unfortunately georgia doesn't have this law... DO NOT BUY A USED CAR FROM THIS COMPANY... I would personally suggest US AUTO SALES they have many locations.. Very understanding, and they wouldn't even let me leave the lot without changing the headlight that was out which I insisted on changing myself.

I purchased a 2004 Jetta from Danco, the Austell road lot. First off because I had a few credit issues a friend referred this lot he said they would not care about credit. First off the finance guy had me pay an extra 400 under the table on top of the 2000 I put down. My payments were 280. They repossessed my car after one month because my insurance is in my moms name. That was the best option for me to get full comprehensive insurance from a good company. They were rude and I have no idea what type of finance company they are running. SCAMMERS. My mom and dad finally got tired and paid it off for me. I paid them back with my school refund check, which was my plan all along with Danco. They are loosing good cutomers and risking their future success. BUYERS Be AWARE~~

I got a bad deal too wrote:
I really dont think its Danco that we need to be mad at, its the company that sold us these clunkers. I bought my car in May 2011 and the engine light was on whe I test drove the car. I told the car salesman that the engine light was on and I wasnt able to purchase the car until the problem was fixed. They took my car away and came back and the engine light was off. The next day, it came back on. Took it back to the Mableton location. They claimed they had ordered the part for my car and it was getting fixed. I waited 3 hours while they fixed it. A week later, the engine light was back on. A different mechanic told me that my engine light was on because I need a fuel pump which is $500-$600! I decided to do a carfax after the bad news only to find out that they changed the miles on my car by 50,000 miles. Totally insane!!!! This has to be the worst car company in the world.
What's the name of the dealership you bought your car from?

I agree. I was behind like 3 months but they worked with me. And I don't have any problems with my car either. If you're nice u receive nice. I have no complaints so far and I have had my car for a year.

I brought my car in 07' from the Memorial Drive location. I gave $1k to $1500 down and I drove the car off of the lot it broke down on my way home. So I immediately brought it back per the old 30 day warranty and told them that they can keep the car. They told me they would fix it they kept my car for 31 days in mableton then upon return the car broke down again now they're trying to garnish my check because I had the car returned to them on a flat bed truck. This was in 2007. They are crooked!!!!
If you don't MIMD me asking how did you get out of the garnishment cause they are doing the same thing t me

These people are crooks that take advantage of people with challenged credit. If you can go to a real dealership ( do that). The interest rate is crazy, the cars break down fast, and they LIE. The dealership will promise you a warranty and NOT FIX ANYTHING. The car payments are set up so you default and have to return the car ( so they can resale it). DON'T DO IT
