Always trying to pass himself off as a "kahuna" or "cultural practitioner" in an interesting mix of parts of 1) new-age voodoo (maybe even doo doo), 2) christian religion and 2) some of that old time kapu religion [or otherwise a recipe concocted that appeals to the crystal worshipping immigrants crowding maui nowadays].

The dumb _ss forgot that Hawaiians used to use the teeth of the beached whales.

If the pod was by the shore for weeks, and they when drop off their brother or sister by the shore, and the brother or sister when land and end up on the shore, that means the bugga wanted for end up on the shore.

Only Charlie would come over there with his sheet wrapped around his shoulder, and tell everybody else to go and bother the pygmy killer whale and take it back into the ocean, AGAINST the last will of the pygmy killer whale and action of the pod themselves, that brought the pygmy whale over there.

Thanks to Mr. Maxwell for speaking to the ill pygmy whale and channeling that, despite the species' desire to beach themselves when ill, this one really wanted to be returned to the ocean to die. Can I get Mr. Maxwell's number so I can consult him when I have a dying plant or ill dog? It's so nice to know we have self-proclaimed sooth-sayers who can channel spirits!

Don't forget the shark is Charlie's "aumakua" a guardian of the kanaka maoli. I would like to see Charlie swim in the company of a dozen of his hungry "amakua's" and see what kind of protection he is afforded. Especially when he has a lot of "beef" to satisfy their hunger.

Whenever Gasbag Charlie speaks, the whole Hawaiian race suffers.

Good that NOAA scientists are there to deal with whale beachings. Local veterinarians are not qualified to treat whales as they were never trained in this specialized area. They don't have the facilities or the expertise to necropsy the huge creatures. Much less treat them.

An obvious victim of the Hawaii Superferry. Or was it the Pacific Whale Ramming Foundation?

Charming fella Mr.Maxwell ..... a modern day mouth piece for whoever he can convince that they need his "expertise". Mr. Maxwell needs to look back and see who still follows him.... he'll be lonely.

It was Mufi, at the helm of his stupid The Boat fiasco who ran over this whale. At least now the prisoners at OCCC can have some fresh whale steaks for dinner!
