When will these people learn that you can't drink and drive these days.

"The 24-year-old driver of the SUV, Shanelle Castaneda Acantilado, who was unhurt, was arrested on suspicion of first-degree negligent homicide and driving under the influence."

"The driver of the Mazda pickup, Anthony B. Smith, also was arrested on suspicion of first-degree negligent homicide, driving under the influence and promoting a detrimental drug. He was treated for minor injuries and released at Kona Community Hospital."

I feel really bad for the guy's parents. He was their only son.
The drunk driver who killed him has a MySpace page and on her profile she claims to "live her life with no regrets". Up until a couple of days ago, that was probably true. I would venture to guess she probably now has at least one.

For your information you are talking about my sister. Who had been side swiped from an oncoming car and accidentally ran into Michael God bless his soul. Our families our really close now they stay out house here in Hawaii. My sister works at a restaurant and specializes in telling people when they had enough to drink . She has lots of regrets. So before speaking out of your fucking ass think about.

Sorry about your sister, but is she is proven drunk, she's going down for drunk homicide. No jury that I know of will let her escape blame for creating the situation. All "accidents" are from the actions of drivers, and a jury is thinking only of the families of the victims. Your family would do well to start pooling your money for a good defense lawyer for her, who will have to plead her out and hope for the best. Then the civil suits are going start. You I feel sorry for, this is a lifechanger.
