Since "Urban Renewal" I have watched this village disappear into a sinkhole With business leaving, or simply being torn down, housing values dropping, and taxes going thru the roof. This is just one more nail in the coffin. Anyone who lived here back 50 years ago can tell you that the political leaders over the years have left business and property owners with one option. Get out.

I think it's interesting that while we were getting a new sidewalk makeover in Newark Dunkin Donuts redid their drive thru and added more parking using the empty spot that was the diner parking.
