Friends, family gather to remember drowning victim

The community gathered by the lake Tuesday night to remember Cindy Tate. Tate, 48, died when her ski boat sank in Lake Stevens on Saturday night.

I knew Cindy from way back in high school. She was always a cheerful friendly person with many friends. It always sad to hear we lost another member of our school. I have not seen her for so long but she will not be forgotten. May her soul rest in peace.
