I think Maylor has been a great Town Administrator. He came into a town where the Selectmen ran the show and were involved in everything you can imagine. Maylor negotiated all the union contracts and stood the line with the unions. He was not infuenced by the selectmen or certain groups in town. He will be a great asset to Billerica!

Haddad is BAD NEWS. Our property taxes in Cohasset went throught the roof under his mismanagement, not to mention what the town paid to settle sexual harrasment suits. We had over-rides, I believe for seven years in a row. He was a little gutless bully who backed down when you stood up to him. Do yourself a favor Billerica, just say NO. He was recently not picked for the same job in West Warwick, RI.

Cohasset had overrides pretty much every year Haddad was TM. We've had NONE since. Whats that tell you?
Lt Quigley, was a Sgt at the time Haddad pulled a hatchet job on him. After Quigleys attorney exposed Haddads case against him, he suddenly (Haddad) enetred into a "cooling off" period rather than having to show that he had no case whatsoever. Lt Quigley, who was recently promoted was also cited by the DA's office for his excellent record of arrests. Not one of his arrests have ever been tossed out.
Town Hall had a poisinous feel to it under Haddad, as he liked to pit people against each other. Since he is gone the atmosphere has greatly improved.
He suddenly quit his job in Jamestown, went into the private sector, and abruptly left to go to Ct. That should raise questions all by itself.
Some of us used to joke that the difference between Haddad & God, was that God never thought he was the Town Manager.
God help the taxpayers and residents of Billerica should this clown get hired.

Having dealt with Haddad in a professional capacity for 12 years, I can state that he gave absolutely full disclosure to the search committee. The information provided clearly shows that cetain powers in
Cohassett literally had a vendetta against him for having the sand to discipline a police officer when the chief at the time would not do it.
He has also written to the reporter in an attempt to prove that his record is clean and only rumor and innuendo are left.
This man has literally had to rebuild his life as a result of this ceaseless unfounded hounding.
Billerica would be well served by a TM of Haddad's qualifications.

Why was the policeman promoted? Why was the animal control officer (also accussed at the same time as Lt Quigley) re-instated, both he & Quigley received back pay. Why did Cohasset settle suits claiming inappropriate behavior on his part? Why then did he say to the West Warwick Selectmen "I made some mistakes in my personal relations in the past, but I've learned from it"?(Providence Journal) What happend in Jamestown? They had a vendetta too? Give me a break!

Willy Williams is only looking to come back to this state to double dip for retirement purposes. Why hire someone who will not be here for that long? Maylor is the smart choice and the most qualified.
