An absolute tragedy, but what's going to be accomplished by locking up an 18-year-old?

A better punishment would be to send him out to schools across the state and talk to other teens about what happened to him. It'll save a lot of young lives, and two lost lives - the elderly woman's and this teen's - won't have been in vain.

Again, tragic.

Lock this 18 year old "kid" up for at least five years. But this case will need a strong judge with guts to set an example and stop the prom week carnage.

"What's going to be accomplished...?"

Hmm...Let's see...
1)Personal responsiblility.
2)Aforethought.
3)Consequences for disregard of moral and legal ethics.
4)He KILLED someone. That's final, in case you just didn't have the mental capacity to grasp that. That innocent woman will never breath life's breath again - because of his PRE-PLANNED CHOICES.

He has earned the need to have him locked up for years upon years. Funny thing about choices ~ Is that once we make them, we have to live with them...

The legal driving age should be moved up to 18 when these little shit-heads have more of a sense of responsibility!
They are obviousely NOT responsible enough to be operating anything.
Creditors won't even extend them credit until they're 18, isn't driving more of a responsibility?

Daily Horoscope for December 27

Sagittarius

After all the excitement of the past few days you're longing for the chance to put your feet up and take life easy for a while. Ideally, you should bury your nose in a good book and be left alone until you resurface for a food transfusion. But you'll also enjoy chatting to someone you know very well and for whom you don't have to make a big effort, such as a close relative.
