Last night I was driving on 129 (bound to rt 95)in Lynn and I saw a twisted, crashed motorcyle on the opposite side of the street. There were about 20 people standing off to the side, and a car was also pulled over. I saw a stream of fluid that appeared black in the moonlight, and the driver was face-down behind the remains of the bike. When I drove back this way today, the place where I had seen the "black fluid" had been bleached(or power-cleaned in someway) leading me to bevlieve that this man was passed on. I have tried to find more information online, I would just like to know more about this situation, as I saw it before paramedics - it had a profound impact on me. Please respond to this if you know anything.

I live in that immediate area. It was a horrific sight! From what I hear the news wasn't good. I'm not going to say one way or another until I know for sure. I will update you if/when I do.

My son told me that he heard this accident was in fact fatal and that an 18 year old driver cut out in front of the motorcyclist. Cannot confirm this however.

I live around the corner andwas one of the people who was standing around in curiousity. The Mass State Police reconstruction team was there recreating the accident. I tried to put the puzzle together myself. I guess the girl (age 21) (driver of the white car) was taking a left and proceeded to go. The man on the motorcyle was at a high rate of speed one witness told me at least 60 but said closer to 80. The motorcycle slammed on his brakes and struck the car with a hard impact. He sustained a fatal blow. Common with high speed accidents. The paramedics tried to revive him with no luck. His jaw was hanging from his face someone said. Just a horrible accident. There was no alcohol involved in the accident. A police officer I know I spoke with there. Thats all I know so far, it was'nt in today's paper or on the news that I saw. Hope it helps.

It is a shame that stories like ths are left out of the news, it would help people be more aware of motorcycle drivers. Just incredibly sad. He appeared young (20s), my heart goes out to the family.

Hi all ,
I live right on the st over , we were sitting in the backyard around 11 ish when we heard screeching tires and a big bang ... I did not witness it first hand but was right there within 30 seconds and this is the what I heard happened from a few different witnesses that night ... the man on the bike came flying down lynnfield st towards wyoma doing about 60 mph s when he hit a car that was backing out of a driveway , this spun him into on coming traffic and he was hit again, this is where he got flung to the cement and skidded on his chest ... he did pass on and it was very horrific to see because it was blood that you did see that was bleached and powdered out on the street. I was right there tryin to help as was everyone , but all we could do at that point was control the traffic and direct it down the side street because there was about 5 minutes from impact until emergency services arrived.... my heard and prayers go out to all those who knew this man as this was a terrible accident

The two people in the car involved with the accident are both my friends. They are still in shock and I feel terrible. They are such good people and now they have to live with this for the rest of their lives. I still don't know the full story but I sure wish I did. I hope nothing happens to them legally. All I know is that speed was a factor. Other than that, I don't know anything. My prayers for the family though..

i think they should b held responsible everyone says speeding might of been the factor but think about it u see a car riding at 30 but seems like 50 we cannot determining speed from the blink of an eye, i bet u anything the driver of the vehicle did not look both ways before pulling out of that driveway, and believe me i know from experiences many times on that same street

THIS IS NOT TRUE, the driver was 21 and the driver of the motorcycle crashed into the passenger seat of the car, which I was in, at an outrageous speed.

honestly all of that is irrelevant. my friend isnt here anymore- the other drivers are alive and well.. people need to pay better attention point blank. bikes dont have seatbelts.. they arent inside something to protect them like a care. people need to be more careful. i know i wud of waited to pull out of my driveway if i saw a bike speeding towards me, common sense. but what can we do. learn from it i hope. it was a terrible accident and it was unfortunate. kiko we love & miss u soooooo much. rip fatty! gone but neva eva forgotten!!

As a motorcycle rider myself, I know that you cant drive fast in a residential area. It is very hard to see bikes, especially at night, and its even HARDER to see a speeding bike at night (i know from experience). yes people do need to pay more attention, but the motorcycle rider should have had enough common sense to know that when you are on a bike you aren't protected and need to drive defensively and watch for vehicles coming in your path of travel. He should have also known that speed does kill.

as a bias witness to this accident , I will defend neither side but I will say that not enough attention was given by either driver , in this area there shouldnt be any reason to speed on a bike , but alot of bikes do so anyone from this area should know to hesitate that extra second if you hear one coming ... the street is a mess so it s harder to stop and it s not a well lit residential area like some may believe its a normal few street lights and houses ... in the end a young man's life was taken way too soon and another young person is traumatized by what was a terrible accident ... hopefully a few lessons will be learned in this , speed kills especially on bikes ... you only have a helmet to save you and the faster you go the less likely your chance is for the helmet to save you ... please to anyone who is driving anything do it responsibly and follow the speed limits please !!!!
