Markey might show interest in Kery"s senate position but Kerry already approached Marty Meehan to see if he was interrested. In any event, Deval Patrick will appoint someone until a special election is held. Don't be surprised if its Meehan that is of course if he is interested. I certainly hope its not Coakley. To have prosecuted Cahill was a stretch and then to hold a press conference after the hung jury to say govt corruption is hard to prove. Is this why the AG represents state agencies in court after the agency is accused of govt corruption? Its hard to prove? I would think that would be a conflict of interest. I hope when her AG term finishes that this is it for her in politics.

You aren't kiddin that Massachusetts politicians are poopoo. I cant think of a single thing that either Markey or Kerry has done for me in all the decades they have been in politics I would still like to know more about Benghazi and what the plan is to protect our Americans stationed at US Embassies throughout the Middle East Hope they get a better homeland security team in place too The Korean missile should be crashing here soon.

Markey officially announced he will run. Another do nothing from MA going to Washington. Don't know if Brown will run but he is much better suited seeing how he has been in the Senate for years unlike the do nothing Congressman
