Didn't he just switch to the Republican Party? Sounds like he doesn't know where he stands, or he was certain Rick would beat him.

Sounds like his principles are based solely on politics. I think ernstberger can and will run away with it, so maybe Roberts switched over to try him first. Anybody should beat that snake in the grass Lamkin, there can't be 20 people in this county that like him.

Jeff registered as a democrat so he could vote in the previous county attorney elections. If you are from here you know local politics, especially county attorney elections, have been mainly voted on and decided in the democratic primaries. If you are actually interested in getting the truth just ask anybody that works with the candidates for county attorney this year, Jeff is the clear answer for countless reasons.

So, what your saying is that he has always been registered democratic just so he could vote for David Harrington? That's not being true to your political ideas, that's kissing someone's butt to get a job. Sounds like an honest guy to me?

I have worked with all the candidates, and while I don't dislike Jeff Roberts, I don't think he's the best choice. I'll be voting for Ernstberger, and I think most of the other people I know who work in and around the court system will be doing the same.

Am so glad Harrington will be out of office. Wonder if his daughter will still be working there. I met with him once over a child support matter years ago and found him to be wishy washy.

That does not sound like butt kissing all. Most local elections are between democrats, ca office, sheriffs race, district judge, etc. if you want your vote to count and give 1/2 a shit about the elected officials you register as a democrat in Calloway county. I know SEVERAL people that do just that for the main reason of being able to vote!

How is it not butt kissing to get a job? It what way was he true at all to his political beliefs? You don't just switch parties because you think it will get you votes or a job. I have no idea who I will be voting for, but it will not be someone who changes their party to just have a job. Can you please say sell out? Not everyone in this county is a democrat. Look at the numbers. You should always stand true for what you believe!

I agree, but Roberts will never do it. He's been in David's pocket for far too long.

I have talked to a lot of the folks that work in and around the court system and they have overwhelmingly said they are supporting Jeff Roberts. Roberts has practiced law for over 21 years. He has been a prosecutor for more than 10 years. He is the only candidate with experience as a prosecutor. He has more experience as a prosecutor than his primary opponent has practicing law.

That's strange. Most of the people in or around the court system are democrats and won't even be allowed to vote in the primary. Another reason Jeff should have stayed true to the party he's be affiliated with for the past however many years.
