What makes you think its about driving? And under the Constitution we have the RIGHT to travel. AND that overides any speed limits, drivers license, anything else.

"The right of a citizen to travel upon the public highways and to transport his property thereon in the ordinary course of life and business is a common right which he has under his right to enjoy life and liberty, to acquire and possess property, and to pursue happiness and safety. It includes the right in so doing to use the ordinary and usual conveyances of the day; and under the existing modes of travel includes the right to drive a horse-drawn carriage or wagon thereon, or to operate an automobile thereon, for the usual and ordinary purposes of life and business. It is not a mere privilege, like the privilege of moving a house in the street, operating a business stand in the street, or transporting persons or property for hire along the street, which a city may permit or prohibit at will."
[Thompson v. Smith, 155 Va. 367,154 SE 579 (1930)]

I just got pulled over today when I was leaving class for going 39 on 12th street where it's 35. The cop looks in the bed of my truck and asks me if I had been drinking all 50 or so beer cans in the back and I look at the guy and tell him "dude it's 1:30, do you think I did that much damage already?" Then he says I possibly could have and he had me get out and run a whole sobriety test just to make sure! I passed of course but these new guys are just out there to bust balls all day!

Driving is a privilege. If you don't think it is, then lose it one time..

Go to court and get it back, but shame o you if you lose it again.

You'll only find that driving is a privilege, not any right that you might speak of.

Traveling and driving aren't the same. Driving is a form of travel.

Yes i spent 20 years as a cop. I did not make much over minimum wage. I could have done many other things in my life that would made alot more money but i choose to do something i wanted to do my entire life. That is to help people, enforce the laws and do things that people like you would be to chickenshit to do. I never once harassed anyone- it was simple to come into contact with me you called me to come to you or you disobeyed the law. I never once had a "powertrip" i worked for the people i swore to protect as an officer and thr same as i helped fight for your freedom. My penis had nothing to do with my life choices, it has served it purpose in life. It worked well enough to give me and my wonderful wife 3 beautiful children. Thats all i could ask for.

People like you who bash cops on a computer you do it for only one reason. A police officer had caught you breaking the law and you as a low life think that you are entitled. Go ahead and keep bashing them. Im thankful for my career and pray everyday for our officers. From the oldest on the force to the youngest rookie, they are doing something you can not. We do not have to risk our lifes but we do. I say we because law enforcement is a brotherhood that i will always be proud to be part of.

God Bless those who serve. By the way go ahead anyone out there make fun of my faith in God and correct my grammer. Its ok bash that too but i promise sticks and stones. Most on here are kids and one day you will grow up..... Hopefully if not you proably will serve time in jail. Good day
