Hell, why don't we just get out and push the cars. That would really save on fuel. By the way, you continue to travel 60 mph on the interstate. YOU would be the problem. Not the guy doing 75 mph. Read and learn: http://www.motorists.org/speed-limits/faq
Where did I say interstate? Where is there an interstate in Murray for one to drive 60 or 70 on? Did I say to drive 60 on the interstate or did I just show a statistic that proved driving a bit slower can save us all fuel and thus all a bit of money. But if the speed limit is 70 and we all do 75, that's just fine; hey we just show our kids its ok to break the law.

You've never in your life driven even 1 mph over the speed limit? If you say never, you're a liar. And if your initial post was just about fuel savings, then why did you mention risks and accidents, etc? Maybe you should walk everywhere. Have you ever been on a plane? They drink fuel. Maybe they should all go 60 as well to save fuel.

Actually, I was showing, questioning the reasoning behind an object designed to help you break the law. And yes, I used to drive over the speed limit, but not any longer. I am poor so like saving the $80 a month I do just by driving about 5mph less. I also like not having been in an accident in over 30 years, I also like that my son doesn't see me thinking its ok to do something against the law.

But you go on, pay extra at the pump and drive like there is no tomorrow. Just stop bitching about pump prices, moron. And when your kids break the law, any law, remember this.

I appreciate how you are looking out for my finances seeing as you are poor and all, but I'm not. Sure, I bitch about gas prices. Name me one person that doesn't. By the way, I just drove to Paducah for dinner and on the parkway and I-24, I did 77 mph. I bet that just chaps your ass doesn't it.

As for the device itself, turnabout is fair play. So it's okay for cops to set up traps like this one, http://www.speedtrap.org/city/10804/Mcewen ? I drive through that hell hole weekly and there is ALWAYS one cop on each end of town. A moron sitting behind a radar gun just waiting for someone to lock em up trying to slow down from 55 to 30 for no reason at all. It's speed traps, sitting in the medians, hiding between bushes, having a cop with a radar gun on a highway overpass crouched down between the railings, while three cruisers wait on the on ramp, etc...all reasons why a lot of the public has little respect for that profession. Maybe if they spent a little more time catching rapists, druggies, murderers, etc, and less time worrying about how much revenue they can make, the attitude towards them would change. Turnabout is fair play.
