Maybe you dumb redneck's need to learn to drive. Burls & Max's both good people trying to make a honest living. I have never seen so many idiots get confused at 4 way stops than in murray. Stay out of their way and use caution ( that's what the flashing yellow lights mean) when they are around.

Tow trucks don't have the right of way. They aren't an ambulance. They are towing a vehicle, it's not an emergency. That's just part of this Jerry Springer Town!!!!

glad we made it to topix mr LOL can u tell me when this happened to you and what color was the truck?the only time we have ever done that is when theres someone trapped in or under a vehicle and the police call us to get to the scene as fast as possible sorry you think that its a problem maybe if it was you or one of your family members trapped under a car then u might understand but i doubt it since you are hiding behind a fake name.ive never seen or heard of Maxs towing driving like that either if he did it im sure he has a good reason we arent out there to get anyone hurt we are there to help people maybe you should learn to respect us a little more!!!

I was on 121 doing the speed limit and the black truck came flying up behind me, rode my bumper and honked. No lights, nothing, and pulled into the gas station (five star). Definitely not in a rush to get anywhere. That's been about 2 weeks ago.

To the other commenter, when someone is driving the speed limit and obeying the law, they aren't the problem.

However they do have the right of way when they are driving through an intersection and have a green light, just as eeryone does. The person who started this post should realize that. I witnessed this happen tonight. I am a police officer and was off duty, I was actually driving next to Max's in the other lane when this happened. we had the green light at 12th and chestnut and this guy comes off of Chestnut turning north on 12th. and about ran us both of the road, wasn't sure if Max was going to get stopped or not. we deal with all the wrecker services in Murray and I must say Max's and Burls are top notch people and I have no concerns with their saftey and would use either of them for my personal towing needs.

I've used Burl's myself and have no problem with Burl or Max's. I have worked as a 911dispatcher and called many tow company's out, but we all know some of them abuse their rights, just because "time is money", just like a lot of officers flip on lights and sirens because they don't want to wait at a light or, want to quickly get through traffic. I see that a lot in Mayfield!

A tow truck riding you bumper? There's an easy solution. Lock your brakes up and have them hit you, then file a lawsuit and ruin their entire life.

First of all I would like to know how you ride the bumper of two separate cars at the same time? Second, have you forgot that I was a witness to this? I was in the lane side by side with Max's when this occurred. We had the green light at 12th and chestnut, as soon as we approach the intersection a car decided to turn right in front us and believe it or not a second car followed that one and did the exact samething. Yes Max did blow his horn as did I did as well, then both cars decided to come to a complete stop In the middle of 12th st. Nearly causing a horrific accident. Max and I both were lucky to have gotten stopped and were nearly rear ended ourselves because we had to stop so quick. One true fact that you did get right is you did pass right by us as we hot caught at the next red light, at this time I was in front of Max he had moved over and got behind me and no he never rode my bumper the whole way down 121. I think you are just wanting to stir up trouble and ruin the good name these businesses have created. You can't be in business as long as these guys have if you employ crazy people. Next time stop on red and maybe you won't get a horn blown at you. Whose the crazy person now?

Why didn't you call for an on duty officer to pull this guy over?

I did, there was not an officer in that area at the time. The officer that was notified radio back that the automobile was code 5 and they were going to attempt to find the address of the registered owner. Hadn't heard if they were successful or not.
