Doubt it since there are bigger cities in KY without a Dunkin Donuts. Why would they waste their time here. Murray Donuts is better anyway.

Yes, it is. Look for construction to start within a couple of months.

yes, there are plenty of donut shops in murray now, at least three. dunkin donuts would put them out of business. I'm sure we could use the competition though, just like the dairy queen. we need two of those, with one to eat on the inside in air conditioned comfort, that could afford to stay open year round, and two mcdonalds, because this one causes all kinds of traffic problems. this town is growing by leaps and bounds.

Just don't understand why every wants this city to grow? To your point that DD would put the others out of business doesn't even make sense. True growth is for things to get better not worse and if 3 businesses close because one opens is not growth. I think if you want to live in a big city move to one. Don't make one move to you. I do agree more things in Murray is a good thing but wanting other businesses to close is absurd.

Competition is always good. It makes each business prove itself and the ones with the best products at the best priced win. It's good for consumers.

Tell that to all of the grocery stores that closed when the Wal-mart Super Center opened or the clothing stores that closed when Goody's and Dawahares opened.

I will. Wal-Mart has much lower prices then those places. Personally I don't see why anybody shops at Food Giant since their prices are outrageous. The consumers made their choice and voted with their wallets.

It would be pretty cool if we got even one of the places listed on this thread, but alas...it won't happen.
