Ran out of Thurs. lunch special "double stuffed crust pizza" at 11:50 AM and refused to make any more. Isn't lunch at least until 2 pm?? I had waited 10 minutes in line for this, and just before I got to the order desk somebody called on the phone and reserved the last 2 slices out from under me. Great pizza, if you can get it. Inexcusably Rotten Service. I WILL NOT BE BACK UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES.

They do seem to hate making the "specials". They always run out early. I understand not wanting to make too much, but why advertise it if you are out by 12:15 every day? As far as them pulling it out of the case in front of you for the call-in, I would have turned around and left.

Have you morons stopped to think that BECAUSE its advertised and BECAUSE its the best damned pizza you can find within 200 miles that their freaking amazing lunch specials sell out before noon?

Topix is the most hilarious place i've ever been. Every thread is full of delusional complaints. OMG ANJELS ATTIX IS MAKING PROFITSSS (it exists to fund the Angel's Clinic) oh my god i am in such a TIZZY the local pizza place that makes their own dough BY HAND wouldn't churn out an entire pizza just so i could buy a single slice, woe is me! Guess what, when the lunch special runs out, its gone. Get over it. God bless Matt B for that pizza place. In case you haven't noticed, Murray's local institutions are disappearing to be replaced by chain stores. Roper's disappeared with little fanfare. I wonder how long till Sammons' Bakery closes its doors. After that, just how many truly local eateries will be left? Sheep like the posters on this forum think every place is McDonalds, and the future we are in the process of reaping is on your shoulders.

Matt B's is a rockin place to get rockin pizza. The people that work there are cool to the core and the pizza is the best around. It is a laid back place to chill and eat great pizza....GO THERE

My husband and I love the pizza at Matt B's. Yes it may take awhile to get your order but well worth the wait.

You are an idiot! To complain that they run out of the lunch special and post it on here is retarded! How dare you? How can you think that you are owed something? Life is not fair. Get used to it. You probably get ticked off when your welfare check comes in late as well! Hey genius, if they run out of the special by 12:15 everyday, then maybe get there BEFORE 12:15! WOW! That took a lot of hard thinking! Also hair brains, they call it a "special" for a reason. If they offered it all day, then it wouldn't be a "special". The audacity of you people is despicable! Grow up too.

Matt B's has the best pizza, the best service, and the best satisfaction around!!!

I do love their pizza but I must say it's the only pizza in town that leaked a huge grease spoy out of the box onto my car seat during the 10 minute ride home. The grease ran right out the corner of the box. Really ticked me off. I just wish it wasn't so greasy.

You need to get out of Murray from time to time then.

Okay, where else in the region where the pizza is better than Matt B's? This should be an interesting reply...

Pizza by the Pound is far superior. Matt B's give you huge slices but the toppings are terrible and overcooked. Pizza by the Pound has amazing crust and awesome toppings.

It's great when Matt B is there but when he's not they never answer the phone or seem to care anything about the customers. They're to busy socializing. Still the best in town by far.

I can't say if it's bad or good. Maybe I will try it out.

B's does overcook their toppings, but they are still good compared to the vast majority of places in the region.

They are the best in town the way Pagliai's is the best Italian in Murray or Captain D's is the best seafood. Seriously it tastes like it's been setting out for a while whenever I have eaten there.

Then by all means, go get a small business loan or use your own cash and open up the greatest pizza joint in the area. Nothing is stopping you...

I could easily say you could go out and fix all the things you complain about on here but that wouldn't quiet be possible consider that covers pretty much everything.

What's stopping you from opening a pizza restaurant? YOU are the one who was COMPLAINING about Matt B's, so how would you make it better? Now it will be interesting to see if you actually answer the question or simply deflect again.

Topix is an opinion site. You don't like my opinions, simple, don't read them.
