I would agree... all churchs are the same. I would also add they (all churchs) are about control and getting your money.

There is no Hell or Heaven and no God... they just play on your mind to make you believe.

That's what VBS (Vacation Bible School) is... get them while they are young so their little minds will be filled with nonsense... then they have them for life.

Glad I became an atheist before they sucked me in!!!

Chances of our existence coming from nothing is 0%. Scientist won't argue that.

It has long been established where humans came from. The big question is "Where did life come from?" As any scientist will tell you, that is unknowable. Recent evidence suggests that Earth may have first received life forms from asteroids. Asteroids formed the earth, but later asteroids crashing to earth probably contained life, just like those that are still moving through space probably contain life.

Lol, so we started out as an asteroid, fell to earth and voila, the asteroid turned into a human. What drugs are you on.

Jesus told him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life".

You have to have more faith in theories such as "the big bang" than creationism. Life began somewhere, somehow... every fiber of your being is fueled by something, that when traced down the line, cannot be identified or explained.

Yeah. That's the way you stupid close minded creationists think. He didn't say that we came from asteroids, he was simply saying some type of life form was carried here to earth by an asteroid. How is that so hard for you to believe that theory? Is it more logical to you that a man in the sky created a man, then took his rib, made a woman from his rib(which would make them genetically identical), then they made 2 sons, and bam!!! Human race starts? Yeah that's way more believeable.

Mary, pick up a good book on the history of Paleontology and read about the fossil remains of prehistoric man, fossils that are over 3 million years old, some over 4 million. Educate yourself. The current issue of National Geographic has a nice article about asteroids and what they contain. It also points out how the earth and everything on it is stardust, that we would not be here today without the destruction of stars billions of years ago. Seek ye the truth, and it shall set you free!

I have read a lot of Independent's comments on every thing from politics, climite change, gun control, religion, motor cycles, and everything inbetween. I would tell him to go fill a large tub full of water and stick his/her head in it and pull it out and see how big a hole is left in the water in order to judge his/her intellegence, importance.

Personally, I didn't like it. It does have a "cult" feeling. Hardin Baptist is awesome. Even though its "baptist", it mainly non denominational. His House in Mayfield is also great!!
