Murray head start is a great school. Both of my kids went there (each one attended 2 years). Great teachers and staff. Kids learned alot. Stop trying to give them a bad reputation. Get off topix and take care of your kid!

You stating nothing. Now had you given a real example, maybe people would take you more seriously.

Alright. Children seem to be getting hurt while under the supervision of the teachers. It is pretty much understood that children will have minor injuries, but to what point would it be seen as excessive? Is there no criteria or protocol for daycares including head start where too many injuries would be seen as neglect?

What is your idea of "excessive"?

When children are constantly falling because of the classroom furniture and therefore, fall into furniture. There seems to be no attentiveness from the teachers. Not saying that the teachers are not qualified, just not attentive. For instance: a child climbs up the side of a rocking chair, falls off the front onto his head. A caregiver responds after standing and watching the child, " well you shouldn't have climbed up there in the first place."

Seems like good advice to me. Kids are gonna tumble, climb and fall. They are tough little beings.

I know some are really qualified, but I do know of one that really isn't. And I will never mention the name on here, so don't ask. That said, kids are going to be kids. Kids are going to fall and get hurt. And what that caregiver said is true. The kid shouldn't have climbed up there in the first place. That will actually teach the kid a lesson. Now had the kid really been injured, I am 99.9% sure the teacher or aide would have acted accordingly. Next time maybe that child will not climb on the side of the rocking chair. Kids are coddled enough as it is. A line has to be drawn somewhere.

Must have impressed you. Go back to school and try to focus on you grammar and writing skills. I only hope you don't have children.
