Worst care I have ever had, they were rude and cared nothing about what was actually wrong with me. I will never use them again, I am in so much pain and the lady just looked at me and said when you have been in pain for a week, come back. The wait was long and the staff was horrible. I have encountered one nice nurse but the receptionist could care less if you live or die.

Dr. Birch, Blalock & Holman are the only 3 I will see there. All 3 have shown to care, be efficient and take the time needed to assess. Everyone else there that I have specifically dealt with, sucks. If you can get through the nurses and business staff to your doc, usually they will take care of you. They (the staff) have been programmed by the "partners" not to call any meds in, no matter what. We had a daughter get diagnosed with the flu at college. We called there for Tamiflu for the rest of the family and was told unless you are diagnosed at Primarily Don't Care they cannot give us Tamiflu. Now tell me that was not just about the $$. I got very nasty on the phone which in turn I guess they took to the doc and Doc took care of the problem. I won't say which one or how since it would probably get them into trouble. It is only a place I will go for basic medical needs. Only because it is so hard to get to the Dr. by phone. Otherwise, I love my Doctors.

Yes, he is, sadly. Show a little respect for the dead as well as family members who might read this.

when primary care was in the 4th floor of the hospital I went to Dr. Kelly for possible broken bone in my foot. He had me walking, which I was in terrible pain up & down the hall several times before sending downstairs to the first floor to outpatient x-ray...Did I mention they had x-rays right in their office? Anyway, his nurse told me if outpatient x-ray found anything then I needed to come by or otherwise i could go home. Have I mentioned that my foot was swollen 3-5 times bigger than normal size and they had me walking as if nothing was wrong with it? I asked if they had a wheelchair for me to go downstairs in... the nurse responded, sorry we don't have one. Really? don't you service people who might need one from time to time? Glazed over look from nurse. Well the story gets better when I get to outpatient services. After walking down 4 floors of stairs and down the hall around the corner and up another hall to outpatient services. I get back in the room for this chick to take x-rays and tell her what Dr. Kelly's nurse said about if seeing anything wrong to send me back upstair..."Oh, I'm just the picture taker" Well, I'm sure you have seen enough feet to know what one should look right if everything is okay. "Well I'm just the picture taker." By this time, my patience have run incredibly thin due to the pain coming from my foot. "Look Lady, I don't want to sound rude but I'm sitting here in pain with a acutely large foot and I want to know if my damn foot looks like I need something this doctor upstairs needs to do today, so while you are taking pictures you can see if everythings appears to be fine or I need to go back upstairs." Yes Ma'am. After she took her pictures she said you might want to go back upstairs. Again I made the trak up all those stairs to his stair walked around the various hallways to his office in the very back. Only to have his nurse talk in a very condesending voice & ask "Honey, are you in pain?" I lost it completely right there...."WHAT IN THE HELL DO YOU THINK,LADY? MY FOOT IS SWOLLEN, Y'ALL HAVE HAD ME WALKING AROUND THIS OFFICE & HOSPITAL AS IF NOTHING IS WRONG? WHAT DO YOU THINK?!?! She wrote me a prescription for pain & dr kelly said when there's nothing we can do for your foot today but we are going to refer you to an othropedic doctor. I didn't get into him until Monday this all occurred on Thursday..I had been walking around on a broken foot for 5 days. Dr Kelly even sent me back to work which his ortho buddy said I should have had my foot propped up & I should have stayed off my feet completely...Thanks Dr. Kelly...
Needless to say I have never went back to Dr. Kelly!

Murray Medical Associates will take care of their patients. I think Primary Care has a holier than thou attitude. I knew some of the staff when they worked at the hospital and since they have gone to PC, they have completely changed as if they are now better than anybody else. It's all about money to them!

I had something really bizarre happen to me when I went to see a Doctor in Mayfield. When I talked to the receptionist, she actually smiled and was helpful. The doctor took their time with me. When scheduling the followup, the receptionist was really helpful, even though I didn't go to school with them or attend their church.

She didn't even know me and yet she treated me with dignity and respect. I could actually talk to the doctor on the phone if I needed to, without just calling and hoping some gatekeeper would actually relay whatever message I needed to convey to my doctor.

Having spent so many years going to Primary Care or avoiding it, I was almost shell shocked to find out that being a rude, snooty, know it all bitch is not a requirement for working in healthcare. Just PrimaryCare.

They almost killed my mother! She had a blood clot and because she didn't have insurance they wouldn't run any tests.Said she had a pulled muscle. Took her to Paducah Er and they xrayed her leg and found a hugh clot that could have killed her! The ER doc was Not amused. All Primarily Don't Care cares about is money. If you don't have the cash you can die for all they care! The office staff and nurses are rude and even when you call for an appt you're on hold for 30min! I used to see both Dr. Clark and Dr. Adams and my daughter saw Joyce when she was little, good care at first then since they moved to their shrine care sucks! Wouldn't take my dog there! There has to be better places who at least believe in the hypocritical oath. All they believe in is collections!

Well in the past I used Primary Care, and last year in January my son became very sick, and could not keep anything down, and loss a lot of weight. I took him to the doctor every week, and some times twice a week and they would basically just keep giving him the same medication, and never tried to find what was wrong, but on every occasion they would ask him the same questions, which were: Are you having trouble in school? Has anything happened that is bothering you? I began to notice that they only continued to think it was a mental type problem. I then decided that I was going to try another doctor, so I went to Murray Medical Associates, and after one visit they found that it was his gall bladder, and in a little over a week, they found the problem, referred him to a surgeon, and the problem was solved. But I had taken him to Primary Care more than 12 times before they referred him to Dr. Finch, which was then not scheduled for four additional weeks later. He was unable to attend school regularly during that time, and when I ask what I was suppose to do while we waited to see Dr. Finch, they only said that I would have to bring him in every time to get an excuse for school, but yet they was not going to offer him any more treatment because they had referred him to Dr. Finch. So basically they wanted me to come in and pay $58.00 every time for a doctor's excuse, while we waited for an appointment with doctor Finch, and while he continued to be extremely sick, and was continuing to loss weight. So from my experience I have learned that I will never return to Primary Care, nor would I ever recommend them to anyone.
