Your staff is fairly friendly, but I'm not sure they can read, nor make drinks. First, sweet tea has sugar in it, which I ordered and got an unsweet. Second, bacon, egg and cheese does not mean sausage, egg and cheese. Oh and a Coolatta is supposed to be at least halfway frozen. It's not supposed to be vanilla flavored milk/cream. Lastly, you can't put granulated sugar into an iced coffee. It just doesn't mix well. Did DD even have some sort of training?

I ordered black coffee in there and the girl at the register asked me if I wanted cream and sugar in it.

Fidalgo Bay is pretty awful. I grew up on the West Coast and it still amazes me what passes as gourmet coffee around here.

. Fidalgo Bay is heads and shoulders above DD when you are talking coffee, or service! While it may not compare to west coast gourmet coffee, it certainly gives any SB or DD a run for their money.

I don't like Fidalgo Bay at all. The little coffee shop connected to Jasmine is much better.

McDonald's is way better and I can't even stand them. Went and ate there once and waited 20 minutes for my food (from the time I ordered til I got it not from the time I got there til I got it they're still busy from being new) pretty shitty service. If they want a chance a redemption I suggest they fire everyone starting from the gm down and start over. No sense in letting all that building and equipment go to waste

Not to mention they're already firing managers and rehiring and promoting. Says a lot about the owners practices.

Sounds to me like either Fidalgo Bay owners or managers don't like the competition.

I like DD but I've had many mix ups so far.

"Do you have French or Italian roast coffee?"
"I have no idea what you mean by that"

Not your typical Baristas

If they'd make a few more donuts, that'd be an option.

You people would bitch if someone handed you a hundred dollar bill. DON'T GO IN THERE. The other day some dipshit commanded fresh hot bagels "out of the oven". Then I heard him talking about how he takes them home and puts them in the freezer and then microwaves one every time he wants one. So why do they need to hot? I will tell you why, because he has to be a picky weird dude. For the record, there are no baristas in Dunkin Donuts either, its supposed to be a quick stop to get a quick cup of coffee and maybe a bite to eat. You want a barista then go somewhere trendy, Murray is not trendy. Fancy word though. I have been in many Dunkin Donuts across this fine nation and I agree that this one sucks but judging by the lines in there, your wonderful little community seems to paying enough to keep the electricity on. It will either get better or continue to suck but either way its packed every day so happy kwanzaa.

We grew up in the North, and DD is BIG up there - all over! We do love it, and DD is usually very good, but this local branch of the franchise needs some help for sure... maybe it's just a learning curve. The service was very poor, bordering on rude from the college age kids, who spent more time talking across the counter to their "buddies" and handing out free coffees to their "friends". The donut selection wasn't up to DD standards, and tasted stale as well - which they should not. I will try them again in a few months and see if they are better. In the meantime, Fidalgo Bay for my coffee and bagel, or Murray Donuts which is fresher and cheaper. I'll definitely hit the DD's around Nashville when I'm down there!

Is wanting what I ordered being picky? Sorry, but I paid for a certain item and I want that item in my bag. If that's being picky, then so be it.

I agree on the drinks. I ordered a sweet tea and a peppermint coffee last time I was there. Sweet tea not sweet and coffee tasted plain. Awful! Ill stick to Mickey D's for my drinks.:)
