After 60/70/80 years of dealing with a bunch of stupid people, seniors have the right to be grumpy.

Yep, Murray is a retirement town. The biggest downside of that is ALL THE SLOW ASS DRIVERS. I can't drive anywhere without being behind a slow person who waits to hit the gas 20 seconds after the light turns green and then drives 15 mph the rest of the way.

If you want to get anywhere on time, you gotta leave like 10 mins earlier ...especially when you drive on 16th st and classes let out on campus... you'll be waiting forever because drivers will be overly cautious--not only with students, but everything!

I hate the drivers in this town. I can rant on, but... I personally believe that the government shouldn't allow people to drive after 70 years of age... it just inconveniences everyone else severely.

At least us people past 60 know how to spell annual, and know that words that start with vowels are preceded with an, not a. Another thing too, if you make it to 60 you have been thoroughly road tested young blood. Your time is coming if you live long enough, enjoy your youth and have a little patience, as we are now you soon shall be.

But you still can't drive. At 60, I would be more than willing to take a road test to determine if I can still drive safely.

Asdf, you have a lot to learn still in your your young life. Don't be in such a hurry all the time. You miss all the beautiful small things when you are always in a hurry. I was taught by my parents that being early was on time and on time was late. There is nothing wrong with leaving a few minutes early to give yourself enough time to be somewhere on time. You will one day be the slower more cautious driver. Patients is a virtue!

I just moved here and have noticed that with the exception of the students this area is one giant retirement community. I have lived in several different areas and travel frequently for work and have never seen so many seniors in one place. Why is that?
