If a poor family has to pay taxes on an old piece of crap house, then the church should have to pay taxes as well.

I didn't think church's or preachers pay taxes! They aren't suppose to get involved in politics either, but we saw otherwise with the recent wet/dry vote!

Christians don't judge people and if they are active politically they should be trying to save their neighbor.
Alcohol is not bad. The consequences it brings on many and their families is devastating.
Everyone has the choice and can deal with the potential consequences.
If alcohol wasn't available many challenges would be avoided.
It is and Christians will be there to help their neighbor if they hit bottom.

Whatever dipstick. Here's the deal. A family that lives paycheck to paycheck has to pay taxes even if they live in a crappy old house. A church does not pay any taxes. You don't make any sense and you are clearly a retard.[/QUOTE]Okay I will break it down for you. The people that go to that church are the people that pay the taxes on their own homes. So in your lopsised thinking you want them to pay more taxes on a building. The people make up the church. The church is not the building. Now are you able to understand or does it need to be broke down on a kindergarten level.

Offering is from a taxed paycheck. The building bought and ran by that taxed paycheck has already been taxed. It would be like having a dog house and taxing you for going to feed them.

You don't get it. Just like all the creationists around here. You all have the "I'm right, your wrong" mentality. Churches should not have tax exempt status. Churches are evil, brainwashing establishments. Churches help no one. Just like your retarded self. You should stay out of church moron and go back to school.

You still have not explained why you want the same poor people that are going to church to pay taxes on a building after paying the taxes on their home. Please explain yourself if you can.

I never said anything about poor people going to church. Churches should not have tax exempt status as long as there are poor people (regardless if they go to church or not) paying their taxes.

Can you not understand the people that are going to that church are the ones paying the property taxes with their tithes. What is so hard to understand about that. With you line of thinking they will have to pay their taxes and turn around and pay taxes on the church.

So you think it is the churches or the governments job to keep your lazy butt up. Get off your lazy rear end and support yourself. Romney was right when he said 47% percent of the population feel the government should keep them up. You appear to be in the top 1 %. You sound like a professional deadbeat.
By the way how did you come up with the 20% figure on their bills.

What in the fart blasting hell are you talking about? Because I believe that a brainwashing cult should not have tax exempt status that I'm some loser that doesn't have a job or pay my own bills? Way to assume you judgemental prick. That's why you are defending the church. By the way, if you want to break down a churches income, it's 20% tithes, 40% trust funds, and roughly 40% investments and dues paid.
