What does the city do with all this booze $? That $ is here to stay and to GROW!!!!... Every quarter the city will get that much plus more when all the other liquor stores get here

You might want to look into that a little first alchy. Those cars were voted through by the city council prior to the alcohol, meaning with or without the alcohol there would still be those same police cars on the road. I watched the meeting. The lease program the police are doing will save the city money over time.

The new cruisers/ SUV's for the police are all well and good and I'm sure needed. However, could we please get some asphalt on some roads around here!? The streets in city limits are almost as bad as streets in Northern cities that get a lot of snow/ice and are salted and plowed REPEATEDLY in one winter season! The streets probably are not the first priority that needs to be addressed, but hopefully sometime they will get them fixed!

Actually Harrington never did say that. The media did. Talk with any local cop and they will tell you there has not been any significant increase.
