Speaking of "transparency"....Wh ere are Michael Mann's e-mails?

Until those are released, I'm still selling torches and pitchforks to the angry villager community at 1/2 price.

They are goin' fast....

Get your pitchforks. Get your torches. No angry ignorant mob should be without a pitchfork or a torch.

I hear Sully is going to offer a free online class for torch construction and pitchfork manufacture?

Why is anyone listening to these children? Running a institution this massive is beyond anything these inexpierienced loud individuals have ever done. The inmates do not run the asylum, that also includes the employee's, ie the facualty. The bottom line is the boss did not do as she was told and they canned her then did not stand by their decision. UVA pitched a fit and it worked.

When will these naive students learn that honor means NOTHING when you have bought and paid-for politicians in your pocket. They need to wake up and realize the only way to succeed is to use Daddy's money and buy your way into top spots in Virginia. Helen's so close to these top (for now) politicians and they are so lucky to have her - they'll never get colon cancer because she'll be able to see it in the cell stage. Wake up faculty and students, UVA was sold pretty cheaply and honor & integrity are a thing of the past. Maybe Penn State is hiring...

The Dragas affair has cost the university and the state millions of dollars plus the loss of prestige to UVA. She should be fired, not reappointed.

Its the Student Council. Virtually every University has one. What they are doing is exactly one of the things they are supposed to be doing. I'm sorry if you think a University is (or should be) some kind of giant high school with a yardstick-wielding principle roaming the halls holding power in the iron grip - where the "children" cower in fear and do as they are told. But alas, that isn't how universities operate - and thank goodness for that. The students are among the stakeholders. They have an organization intended to represent their concerns and interests. That's what they are doing.

When did it become University of Dragas? I thought it was University of Virginia separate and distince from The Dragas Companies. Helen was not elected by popular vote, but rather appointed to an unpaid position by virtue of her daddy's money. I'll have to check again, I am certain I would have seen that press release. Oh, wait, Governor McDonnell made that announcement when he declared her behavior was not malfeasance but just a "simple mistake." Then it became University of Dragas.
