You're equally clueless.
For today's round of 'blaming the victim' we're going to start out with a hypothetical!
Hypothetically, "what if" the sexually confused simply stayed home and practiced their bizarre proclivities on themselves or unsuspecting family pets? Then we wouldn't have to suffer the zanies as they try to sell their outrageous agendas under the guise of crime reporting.

What makes this person any more newsworthy that the dozens of other missing persons that the Charlottesville and Albemarle police forces are now looking for? I challenge NBC29 to tell the public the total number of missing persons now being sought by local police agencies!

I think a lot of the negative comment/people want a response. Last I checked, you aren't obligated to click any link and read any post. It's a choice!! Stop the disrespect!!!

Ignorance deserves to be challenged as well as ridiculed.

Please remember this young person's family when commenting. They deserve nothing but respect, sympathy and help from our community. Blessings to them and Dashad/Sage. May he be home soon.

Uh, oh. People are spending time and money on something Rusty doesn't deem worthy. If only Dashad had a Mexican-sounding name, maybe you could get excited about it.
So what sort of "_______sounding name" is Dashad? Confused? Silly? what? Why does it have to be "______sounding" at all? Why do you make a differentiation? Lack of self confidence? A need to feel more important than you are?

Hypothetically, what if you were wise enough to realize what a fool you are?

I love the irony in the title of this thread and the subject matter. In this town if you want to take back the night you better take your arse homeand do it there . The cops are to affraid to say boo to anybody so they just write tickets all day.

I would agree Cville does not hide its racism (not from here so it's pretty damn obvious to me)...but I honestly feel like I hear just as much about this case as I did the Morgan Herrington case. I really do not know why people keep saying the police are not doing enough. I'm not trying to be a smart ****...but please tell me what it is the police are not doing that they should be. Someone out there PLEASE say why you think this is not being treated fairly by the police.
This has nothing to do with the effort of the cops. This is called self righteous indignation, unfounded to be sure but we're not dealing with a well rounded objective segment of Cville's populus. Quite the opposite for if one listens closely to the rhetoric it begins to cast a shadow on the loudest mouthpieces. They don't report crime within their own community for fear of retribution so when something like this happens they cry fawl. Makes them feel better about themselves.
