Was her attorney a public defender? If not then since she hired him, then she should take the consequences. Hope they retry her, and jam her with a felony again. Probably won't though since the sheriff is elected, and he probably doesn't want to lose a few votes.

This lady has acted idiotically and so has her attorney on many past cases. She was convicted by a jury of her peers, served 6 months and could have avoided it all by pleading to a misdemeanor in 2010. A plea she refused. What a victory. NOT Got off on a technicality, not because she was or is innocent.

Attention all truly guilty criminals, hire Chester before he is disbarred. He will get you off one way or another even after a jury of your peers seeks and finds the truth! Guilty as charged? No problem, ignore your own criminal actions and blame the attorney you yourself hired. Money always finds some way to waste the courts time and put a "new spin" on the truth. Glad she already pulled the 6 months and I hope it cost her a chunk of change.

Happy that she has defeated the justice system and the corrupt police of Augusta County.

People are ignorant and don't understand the complexities of this and many other legal situations. The justice system is very corrupt and needs a mix up.

Yay Judy, glad that you finally got justice from the corrupt, good ole boys club called Augusta County Finest. The negative comments here must be coming from some of them, or others that don't have a clue, either way, you won!

She made two mistakes, the first was attacking the deputy and the second was choice of attorney.I am glad however that she can at least go back to work in nursing this area is in dire need of good nurses.
