Seriously; students are having difficulty locating their classes? Do they need to raise admission standards?

Why think and figure things out on their own? There's an app for that!

Great job! The University grounds is quite expansive, and students often take classes outside of their department or school of enrollment (nursing, engineering, business, etc.). They have a limited amount of time to get from one class to the other, and this will help them stay on time.

I remember when you studied for the class you took, to include figuring out how to get there. Now the time spent looking down at the app on your phone replaces the time you hustled to get to class. And everyone thought the students were inattentive crossing the streets now?

Ha ha ha ah ah ahahahah aha ah ahhahahahahah ahah ahhahahahah - whew!

Almost busted a gut laughing.

Formula for free advertising in Charlottesville.
1. Be affiliated with UVA in some capacity.
2. Develop/start something; anything - no matter how ludicrous. An app to wipe your b-u-t-t would work as well as any other.
3. Contact NBC 29.

You're right -- planning is important. But like it or not, this generation is very computer/phone oriented.

There are a lot of buildings being renovated currently, and students are attending classes in unfamiliar locations. They also attend seminars across grounds. I'd rather they know where to go and be on time than get lost and show up late.

Wow -- now that you have the formula, go for it.

Cool - great for the Freshman.
Textbooks will soon be all on-line. All needed for class will be one device Android or Apple.

Why even go to class: they can sit in their dorm rooms and take the class online, send in assignments via smartphone. No need for all that construction going on in C'ville. it would also cut down on the assault/harassment of students between buildings.

Why have dorm rooms? They can sit in their parents' homes and do the same thing.

You're right; I do, just that I have seen the free plugs for anything connected to UVA on Channel 29 so often that I have to snark about them.
