I hope the judge cuts here license into little itty bitty pieces. If she gets that drunk and still thinks it's okay to drive, she doesn't deserve ever again.

I was going to say the same thing about the .05. This clearly wouldn't have happened if they would go ahead and drop the legal limit.

I doubt if a .05 limit would have prevented this. She didn't pay ANY attention to what the legal limit is NOW, why should she care what the legal limit is ever? Taking away a license does not prevent a person from driving. There should be jail time for this, but there won't be because the jails are overcrowded as it is.

POS, she should have been taken out so she does not have another chance to KILL an innocent person(s).

I would say most of the people involved in alcohol related crashes are not the same people that are responsibly trying to limit themselves to .08, therefore moving the limit to .05 really does nothing but prevent a 185 male from having a second beer at dinner. As some have suggested with other topics...criminals don't care about laws.

First of all glad no one lost their life and yes she should do alot of time for what she did and nver get her lic. back. My question is where was she drinking at and who let her drive that drunk? Of course she knows right from wrong and she should not have been driving a car drunk. Wounder if this is her first DUI?

Exactly, Spanky. If you do your homework, it's clear that most accidents occur at the .10 and up mark. The .08 is merely there to generate revenue through traffic stops and baby needs new shoes, so lets drop it to .04 and get the poor guy that has 2 beers with his dinner. Or the lady that had two glasses of wine with hers. More revenue for the counties, towns and cities....but the restaurants may take a hit.

stop gritching about the level being decreased, geeze, some people get impaired by one drink while others may be fine after four, but frankly, who cares, NOBODY needs to drive if they've been drinking. Why risk it, I don't want your dumbasss killing me or anyone else.
