I know that I will get some nasty responses to what I am about to say about this topic & current events but I'll say it anyway. Blacks in general are the most racist/biased of the top 3 ethnic groups!
I could easily go into detail but I would rather respond to the expected comments to my post.

What are the "top 3 ethnic groups," Pops? What comments do you expect from your post and why?

Please go ahead and easily document your assertion in detail.

Caucasians, Latino's & so called African-Americans. 1st, Why African-American? Isn't that in & of itself a discriminating term, A racist term? Why not simply American? A mentionable number of blacks in this country have come from British colonial Africa, Haiti, Dominican Republic, etc. The native born blacks have been here for generations & generations & generations. YES, YES, I know about slavery before 1864 & racism after that with Jim Crow laws, the 'active' KKK, water fountains & lunch counters. I have lived through part of that myself. But amends have addressed that in forms of reverse discrimination for more recently additional generations.
A huge vocal number of today's African-Americans ( called Blacks from now on) keep wanting to be treated specially instead of joining the mainstream America after 150 years!
I & many many others owe them NOTHING but an equal playing field just as I am owed.
I am far from alone when I say that BOTH sides of my family came from Germany in the 1880's. My grandparents spoke German & English at home but called ourselves AMERICANS. NOT German-Americans. The issue is not just skin color or Asians, Latino's, true Africans, Polynesians & others, it is ATTITUDE. The attitude that one can & will do the best that they can to achieve what they can on a level field.
But Blacks are told that they are 'owed' special treatment, social programs, housing, jobs, etc. WHY? Because their Black leaders tell them so. John Conyers sometimes brings up restitution for slavery. again why? My family had nothing to do with slavery and so too the others in the notable German & Italian migration of the late 1800's or the Irish from the 'potato famine' of the 1840's-1850's, the Polish migration, the Spanish that were here when much of West & Southwest became part of the U.S. or the Asian influx of the 1800's that were themselves discriminated against in the 1800's & up to the camps of 1941-1945.
Then what about the unaccountable numbers that ran the Underground Railroad at the risk of death?
Then there's the FACT that several colonies that became states had anti-slavery laws in their state constitutions & thus never had lawful slavery. Today's Black leaders don't want to talk about that. It doesn't perpetuate their incomes. It doesn't keep a microphone in front of them.
I truly could go on & on but I am quite slow at the keyboard.

I agree, Pops, that our culture is still racist and hope for a time when we don't discriminate among, African, European and Latin American heritages. That's all irrelevant when it comes to defining "American." I don't fault charismatic leaders who make every effort to help abolish racism in every form.

Many people are biased & that will always be. Biased against obesity, skin color, age, gender, different religions etc etc.
There are 2 generations of bi-racials in my family. They all get hugs & kisses.
They are told that a person needs to get out there and achieve thru there own efforts and that they do their best. That is how we do away with racism, by teaching & by example.
Jesse Jackson & Al Sharpton are not good teachers or good examples. Didn't Jesse call N.Y. Heimie town? Didn't he wear blooded clothes for days after MLK was assassinated? Why?
Didn't Sharpton totally fabricate the Tawana Brawley episode?
Don't both of them tell their 'listeners' that the white folks owe them. Do they tell Blacks that they are Entitled? YES to all questions. I just can't buy their perspectives.
James Meredith wrote in his book that (paraphrasing) set asides, entitlements, & affirmative action keep the blacks enslaved because they stay dependent on the whites & the government instead of making their own way.
We all have heard what Bill Cosby, Allen West, Colin Powell & others have said time after time after but their words get stifled by the entrenched self serving talking heads.

OH, By the way, BLACKS are racist too. Racism is NOT limited to us peckerwoods, caspers, honkies, whities, crackers or whatever. That is why I sometimes get a little irritated when someone, some story, some 'news article', some law or whatever presents otherwise. That only whites are racist.
Asians are are among the most racist in the world. The Vietnamese, Chinese, Thia's, Koreans, Japanese & more are arguably the most 'purist' in the world.
Then there are a huge number of Africans that slaughter others for being from the 'wrong' family, tribe, clan or nation. This country is far from bad.

Basically, blacks ruin every city in America because they are trash!!! Oh wait, my bad!!! There is one good black for every 20 so I'm sorry, 5% of the blafricans are ok. Keep letting them into your cities and watch the country decline. Ignorant, trash, blacks....that's why every country in the world hates them, and get America gives them free money once a month.

hen there is a legislative move to change that, the black 'leaders' & politicians catering the black vote scream about racism & in effect perpetuate the whole damn thing.
All that is owed to each of us is a level playing field but taking candy from an adult baby is not easy.
A college student where my son goes to college filled out forms stating that he was African-American to get the benefits. When it came to the point of face to face processing he was turned away. Why? Because he is caucasian & his family is from South Africa. The forms don't say "black", they say "African-American". Racism in our government? Seems so..
