only you have said this.
Yes, me and the entire history of this nation, including the lie that our founders were all Christians. Right wing Christian Conservatives hi-jacked this nation, destroyed it with their greed and then blamed the poor for it. How divine.

Religions pick and choose what they wish to believe out of the Bible. That's what distinguishes one religion from another. No religion (to my knowledge) believes or follows everything in the Bible.
Even the religions that believe in the same passages define the meanings behind those passages in different ways. For instance, the passage you posted does have a meaning, but it's not what you think. God doesn't have any problem with wealthy people. The actual meaning behind the passage you wrote is about people who chose money over their God, not that money is evil.
You can't tell people of any religion that abortion isn't murder no more than they can tell you man isn't causing climate change. People have the right to believe whatever it is they want to believe. You can debate them of course, but you can't tell them they can't believe what they believe because you disagree with it.
The irony of you telling me that religions get to pick and choose what they want to believe and their only option for a source is the Christian Holy Bible basically sums up my point exactly. I'm sure the Hindus will be thrilled to know that. The fact that you guys can't admit the OBVIOUS favoritism given in our nation's politics to Christianity is a joke. Really. like I stated long before Hobby Lobby, and which the Hobby Lobby case proved to the letter, this is all just a corporate agenda using religion to sway to dumbest of our citizens.(Also see how GW Bush got elected twice and why we lost so many Americans in a needless war, fighting against Christianity's number one religious rival, the Muslims) Before you go flapping your mindless. Lawrence Welk fan gums, I was told directly by a vet who fought in Afghanistan and Iraq that the ONLY reason we were fighting in Iraq was to kill Muslims.

Hey neat. Not only do you know more than expert climate scientists, are smarter than our Harvard educated president, but now you are the personal interpreter of the creator of galaxies. The verse clearly states rich folks have very slim odds to making it to heaven. Nothing more.

It states in the Bible that the governing authority is to be respected and followed because it was put there by God. I wonder what percentage of the people who call our president names and put him down (Only because he is black by the way, but then every American already knows that) are Christians? How many challenge the "God appointed" Supreme Court and their ruling on abortion not being murder? Ooopsie. Someone knows the Bible better than you. Just like those Climate Science experts know about our climate more than a truck driver. We'll let you know if we need something mindlessly driven from point A to point B, though.

"God is the alpha and the omega". That means there was nothing before God and nothing after, so the real question is, who invented abortion?

Archeologists discovered in the exact streets where Jesus supposedly walked, from the exact time he supposedly walked them, the bones of thousands of fetuses tossed in the sewers by prostitutes, yet no mention about it being right or wrong from Jesus. He did mention very clearly though about his extreme Socialist views and how hell is brimming with rich folks.

Yep, that passage from Romans is pretty clear in its meaning, if one will take the time to actually read it:

"Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God.

Whosoever therefore resisteth the power, resisteth the ordinance of God: and they that resist shall receive to themselves damnation.

For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to the evil. Wilt thou then not be afraid of the power? do that which is good, and thou shalt have praise of the same."

You told me a while back that you never voted for Democrats or Republicans for President, but you never said who you DO vote for (or if you even vote.) I'm trying to understand where you are coming from, politically.
