Midland has a volunteer who is not practicing safe fire fighter practices,
Speeding on rural roads is not going to be tolerated any longer. Legal vol fire fighters are permitted 10 miles over the limit. Formal action will be taken with the state police the very next time the maroon ford pickup that comes from martinsville direction towards midland is clocked at 90 mph. It's my personal option that if there's something burning I'n methland it probably needs burning. I think the Clinton south needs to be hung out to dry blan needs to take it over,

You sound like Chambers. How are you going to take formal action? Who the hell knows what your " personal option" is? What the hell does "Clinton south needs to be hung out to dry blan needs to take it over" mean? You doesn't make much more sense!

Knife I'n my pants must be from midland, not much Whitt.
Clinton south is a joke I'm thinking blan set that station up just to keep the quarter whitts out of the blan station. Regardless of my personal opinion the volunteers need to set a safe example. The speeding is not exceptable

@News1 there is one question I have and that is how do you know that this truck was a firefighter from Midland? I know several firefighters from Blanchester that drive maroon trucks. I only know of one that is on Clinton South and he would not be coming from the Martinsville direction so maybe you need to verify that this was one of Clinton South's members. UNLESS you are one of the Blantucky people that is trying to start trouble??? I agree the Volunteers do need to set a good example but if you happen to be a firefighter maybe you should be setting one for yourself. I know people on both departments and they work hard and put there lives at risk when the tone is dropped. If you are an FD member you are a disgrace to the service!!

Bla bla bla it's gray my bad it was going so fast it was like a blur!
No I'm not a fire fighter or in any affiliation to the FD click. Also I'm not from Blanchester I'm a Clinton county resident that is glad to have those who want to put my fire out BUT doesn't want adrinilyn fueled fire fighters racing after a burning meth lab for $5 bucks a run. What's going to happen when someones kid or pet gets hurt or killed or even one of you piling up in someones front yard? Yes the end of midland vol FD... Drive safe fireman

News1 Learn the law, firefighters are not permitted to do 10 miles per hour over the speed limit. They are allowed to drive with "Just cause" meaning drive at a safe and effective speed depending on the scenario. If he was driving with his lights and siren on he is protected with the little dash sticker on his windshield. If he didn't have them on and has a sticker get the number and report it to the ODOT so they can yank his fire card. If he was driving with his flashers on and no red light it is inducing panic which is a fine and results in a suspension of his fire card. Next time you feel threatened by the firefighters go to the fire house and question them face to face if they are like my dept. where I live they will gladly answer your questions. If they give you trouble take his number from his windshield along with his lisence plate number and report it. I will be willing to bet he doesn't even have a number in the windshield being from Midland so if not that is a felony 5 report him.

Again both NEWS speaks like they have no sense. I live in Clinton County to but I sure don't put on here that I am from Detriot Michigan to try and hide the fact of where I live. Do you have a clue of what you are talking about??? Just because a firefighter is from Midland you think that they do not have to obey by having the "little" sticker in their window? Check them I bet they have them. Blah Blah is right. All firefighters go through training just as all departments do. They earn their certifications the same way. They risk their lives the same way. The only thing that makes any sense to your ramblings is that they should drive with, and by the way study your book a little more it is called "due regard". I also passed a firefighter this morning on 28 going to a run just happened to be a Blanchester firefighter going to American Showa. He sure had his lights on but there was no siren so I did not hear him coming around the bend until he was right on top of me and coming in my lane. He also was driving over the speed limit!!! And by the way Blanchester might get paid but Midland does not get paid by the run. They volunteer their own time to respond to their tones and I sure did not hear any complaints from a Westboro family last week that those Midland firefighters went into that burning structure to try and save as much of their personal property as they could. As a matter of fact that family told them how grateful they were to them for saving some of the family pictures etc that they can never replace. As for Meth labs, really? Do you realize the type of explosion that they cause and the danger the community could be in without Fire Departments to detain it. Do you know how many firefighters have been treated over the past few years for being exposed to those chemicals and fumes and not just Midland ones. Do you have a clue of what they risk to go in and take care of one of those Meth Labs. All firefighters should be responsible at all times pertaining to others safety but you are doing nothing but having a bashing session against a department of hard working people that don't get half the respect they deserve. I grew up with my father being part of the fire service and my children are in the fire service and I don't care who they are or what department they are with I am grateful to all the fire and ems service for being there when we need them and they don't deserve to have jerks like you putting them down because of the department they are from. I have no problem talking to either Fire Chief about concerns that I have or issues with one of their members so instead of bashing them why don't you go down and talk to them about it.
