just curious in blan

I hear a lot of scuttlebutt around town about the African American police officer now working for the Blanchester Police Department. People saying he is pulling everyone over, and subsequently treating everyone like a drug dealer.
I dealt with this guy a couple weeks ago and found him to be highly professional.
Is it fair to assume he is treating everyone like a suspect because they are trained to exploit traffic stops because statistics show that police encounter more drug dealers, more wanted people than in any other part of their job? Is it possible that because Blanchester like most small towns are experiencing heroin, meth and other dangerous drugs at epidemic level that it's necessary for the police to explore and exploit every chance they can? OR, are these complaints about this guy really about his race? I ask this because let's be real about our community, like most small towns ours hasn't had a high black population, some of the citizens are racist even though they would never admit to it, even though historically Blanchester was known as a "sundown town" until at least the early 70's?
The reality is that our police chief is committed to crime and drugs more so than giving out speeding tickets, and for me that is just fine. I would rather try exploit what they can if it means one less home invasion and one less robbery and one less drug dealer moving into our community. For me, it may annoy me if they pull me over and search my car, but at the same time I know they will find nothing and that's ok with me because it gives me some comfort that the next guy they pull over may be a wanted violent criminal, or a drug dealer.
On the race issue, fact is that we now have a larger black population than ever in history for our community, so why not have some black officers just the same as we have female officers.
This guy is just like you and me, doing his job and trying to do it well in order to protect our community, so no matter what the reason you have, cut this guy a break and don't judge him based solely on his race, he is educated and he is doing a dangerous job and if you have nothing to hide you have nothing to loose. Right? It's time we worry about the real issues, like holding our mayor and city council accountable for the streets, holding the BPA accountable for ripping us off, holding our streets department accountable for its employees advising public funds by taking care of private property or cruising town all day using taxpayer gas. The only way this town is going to move into the future while maintaining the small town safe place we all remember from growing up here is to pick our battles, take an interest and speak up. Attacking a black police officer is embarrassing to you that are doing it and embarrassing to or community as a whole. Our police department deserves credit for effort in an increasingly dangerous world. I have lived in small towns where the police overlook the dealers and the thieves only to worry about speeding tickets and income for the community. We should all thank god that we don't have a police department afraid of the real

So you made him take the "breathalyzer". With cops, it's usually the other way around. lol
