POPS; Your logic is lacking.......... it goes a little too far ......
The work place is different, NO smoking there.......... Just my opinion.
It has been PROVEN many times that tobacco smoking is harmful to the smoker AND those that breathe the smoke filled air, no matter the environment. Under Ohio's laws customers have a RIGHT to enter to any business and be free from known/preventable harm. Further; restaurant/bar employees have a legal RIGHT to a smoke free workplace as do all other Ohio employees.
In Ohio, as all other states, no one has a RIGHT to smoke wherever they choose/please. Not while fueling a motor vehicle, not while riding in the elevator, not in the public areas of schools, nor in the most parts of a restaurant, a taxicab, a public bus, a school bus, ad nauseum.
Yes, I have smoked. By 18 years old = 3 packs a day, by 45 years old = 5 packs a day (1/2 a carton!).
I/you/We the People have NO "right", under law, to smoke! Smoking is tolerated BUT >NOT< necessary for life.
