This would be more of a hassle than getting out of the car and lifting it manually.
First, you'd have to unlock the phone, maybe in more ways than one. Then, cancel the last screen used, find the app icon, wait for loading, then hope you don't get a phone call in the middle of it all.
As you can guess, these are only a few likely things to have to wrestle with on a daily basis. It would almost seem helpful if it was invented backwards to this dumb idea. If someone could ever think of making a remote for just opening the garage door....Brilliant!
Anyhow, this is at the top of my list for headache apps. Here's a few others I found to be completely useless, In my opinion...
-Bluetooth thermostat for smart-phones.
-App to find the nearest pay phone.(UK)
-App to tell you if it's day/night outside.
-Flashing "Hail Taxi"
-Any app to order a pizza.

Back to the drawing board, Garageio.

Good morning!

Lol
The electronic age is a bitter-sweet relationship.

SWEET: I LOVE my iPad and laptop and how a world of info is at my fingertips at any given time.
(I'm giving my desktop to my grandsons)

BITTER: In public cell phones and people talking loud, especially at a restaurant, sends me to the roof.

Now they are considering cell calls on airplane flights!
God help is all! I will need to be restrained.
Lmao

Good morning to you also.
I'll admit, I'm as much an electronics fan as the next geek, but by far, NOT a dependent to its so-called capabilities. I should put that as... Its security and dependability. Computers and smart phones have too many loop-holes to rely on it ever being just a personal pal.

I do not understand why they have not hired Joe Garagiola to endorse this product.
