Should voters show an I.D. or not? If 'yes' why. If not, why not?

Yes I think voters should be required to show a state id of some type. I believe that it would help to reduce voter fraud.

But some people claim that it 'disenfranchises' Minorities & the elderly.
Others claim that there aren't enough fraudulent votes to matter.
