I am looking for anyone with information on the Bindley Hotel located in Blanchester Ohio. I know that there are a few antiques shops downstairs buts thats about all I know. I would love to see pictures of inside the hotel way back when (or current). I was told it had a beautiful ballroom and a few lavish parties were held there. Anyone know where I could find pictures and information I may be willing to pay. I recently purchased a large mirror 10ft tall and 3ft wide which was rumored to have been inside the ballroom at the bindly hotel in the late 1800's or early 1900's. If you know please email at [email protected] Willing to pay for right pictures. let me know

Hi I only know that years ago the upstairs was in DEEP REPAIR, this wonderful Historical building is being let go, a few years ago someone said that a roof was put on it, but as of this year it still has major problems Up and Down stairs what a shame. It looks like the town of Blanchester and village council would do something about this building, most houses in Blanchester have to keep up keep--- on regular homes but not a Historical Building right in the middle of Blanchester, most other bussiness owners and landlords of building in Blanchester are doing up keep. The owner and long Clinton County family just doesn't care just look at the building go inside check it out. I know times are tough and it's in Clinton County but there is help ( like grants etc.) The owner need to check out maybe some kind of Ohio Historical help also.
I don't have any pictures of the golden years of this building but there is a Historical house that is on main st across from UDF maybe that will Help you.

Hello, I found an old original photo of the lobby of the Hotel Bindley in a box of old family photos. I have no idea why we have this picture, other than part of my family (Hatch) was from the Athens/Rome area of Ohio. Possibly a distant cousin worked there or owned it...the inscription on the back, handwritten, says:

Dec 10, 1919; This is our "Lobby" or office
Hotel Bindley, Blandchester Ohio.

I would love to find out who sent this picture to my aunt!

Connie Kirkman Dunton,
I would absoulutely love if you could scan the picture and send a copy to me. I've been trying to find any old pictures of this hotel without any success. I'd appreciate it very much.
